<b>Clarence Valley Pickleball Open 2026<b/>
Date: 4 - 6 September 2026
This is a Tier 1 Pickleball Australia Sanctioned Tournament, proudly hosted by Grafton Pickleball Club in the beautiful Clarence Valley, NSW.
The tournament will be conducted in accordance with the current Global Pickleball Federation Rules, available at:

<b>EVENT SCHEDULE<b/>
Friday, 4 September 2026 – Singles
Saturday, 5 September 2026 – Gender Doubles
Sunday, 6 September 2026 – Mixed Doubles & Hybrid Doubles
Players may participate in more than one event during the tournament; however, each entry must be in a different category (e.g., Singles, Doubles, Mixed Double, or Hybrid).
All players are guaranteed a minimum of three games per event. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to competitors placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each bracket.
<b>REGISTRATION<b/>
Registrations Open: 04 June 04 2026
Registrations Close: 01 September 2026 or earlier if venue capacity is reached.
Registration Fee: $60 (includes one event)
Additional Events: $10 per event
Maximum Entries: 4 events per player
Participants must hold a Pickleball Tournaments account linked to a current Pickleball Australia Membership and DUPR account.
Players may register for doubles events without a partner; however, it remains the responsibility of the participant to source a partner and ensure both players register to secure a position.
<b>PLAYER ELIGIBILITY<b/>
- Players may enter age-based events according to their age as at 31 December 2026.
- Singles and Doubles skill events will be based on the player’s relevant DUPR rating at the close of registration.
<b>WAITLIST<b/>
Singles: Players will automatically receive a place in the draw unless the event reaches capacity.
Doubles: Teams where both partners are registered will receive priority over incomplete teams. Players without a confirmed partner may be moved to the waitlist after 7 days if a partner has not registered.
Following registration close, the Tournament Director will determine whether waitlisted players can be accommodated based on court availability and venue capacity.
<b>TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR DISCRETION<b/>
The Tournament Director reserves the right to:
- Review and adjust player ratings where self-ratings are inconsistent with demonstrated ability or DUPR rating
- Move players or teams to appropriate brackets if entered incorrectly
- Merge brackets with insufficient entries to maintain competitive viability
- Amend schedules and start times to ensure efficient tournament operations
- Modify events or schedules where required due to circumstances beyond control (e.g., extreme weather or venue constraints)
- Accept or decline waitlisted entries based on venue capacity and scheduling requirements
