We are excited to announce the 3rd annual 509 Summer Classic!
*50+ and 60+ Age bracket Gender doubles will play Thursday during the day (no worry to be mixed with any young bucks!)
**Singles will be UNDER THE LIGHTS Thursday evening for those wanting to participate. #CoolSummerNights #UnderTheLights

This tournament will be held at Eastern Washington's largest dedicated outdoor pickleball complex, the beautiful Lawrence Scott Park.
For skilled events this will be a Fun Round Robin format WITH playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze for skills 3.0-4.5 with age brackets under 50, 50-59, & 60+.
Open event (double-elimination up to 16+ teams / $75 event fee per player) with $14,700** Open event fees in total prize money. TD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play.
The Open Registration fees will be 100% contributed towards the prize pool and have been allocated for the teams competing in the OPEN division only. The open division, which features the most skilled and competitive players, will have its prize money split proportionally among the following categories:
Men's Open Singles
Women's Open Singles
Men's Open Doubles
Women's Open Doubles
Mixed Open Doubles
Within each category, the top-performing teams will receive a share of the purse, with the distribution determined by their final placements and the tournament's prize structure and respective to the qty of teams in each event.
This purse structure acknowledges the exceptional talents of the open division players and serves as a testament to the tournament organizers' commitment to fostering a competitive and rewarding environment for all participants in the open division.
Open divisions must have 6+ teams registered in order for the event to be played.

Additional Information
All Morning events will start at 8am each day.
Thursday: 50+ & 60+ Gender Doubles
Thursday PM: UNDER THE LIGHTS Singles Events
Friday: MLP Style Team Event
Saturday: Gender Doubles
Sunday: Mixed Doubles
There will be vendors and food onsite for additional purchase.
If YOU are interested to have a vendor booth onsite pre approval is required.

Refund Policy
All player registration cancellations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Withdrawals before June 5 2025 will receive a full refund minus a $25 cancellation fee and non-refundable service fee of $5 per event, maximum of $10.
If you registered and paid the registration fee and were put on the wait list; you will not be charged the event fee until you are actually moved into the event. If you do not move off the wait list; a refund will be issued at the end of the tournament minus processing fees.
PickleballBrackets service fees ($5/event up to $10 amateur) are NOT refundable.
Refunds will be issued 7- 10 days after the completion of the tournament.
Prize Money
$15,000** in total Prize Pool money that will be split between each of (5) open events proportionately to number of teams in event.
Prize pool is only for the open events.
**Payout example below is based on all open events having 12 registered teams with the $7500 base pool.
**OPEN Doubles Events payouts (Based on 12 teams) = $3,675 total. 1st Place: $2,020 (55%). 2nd Place: $1,100 (30%). 3rd Place: $550 (15%).
**OPEN Singles Events payouts (Based on 12 teams) = $1,850 total. 1st Place: $1,018 (55%). 2nd Place: $555 (30%). 3rd Place: $278 (15%).
Open Division Men's Dbls, Women's Dbls, and Mixed Dbls, Men’s Singles, and Women’s Singles will compete for their direct share of the prize purse respectively.
*Total division prize money is determined by the number of division registrants.
Open Division events will be DOUBLE ELIMINATION.
At the discretion of the Kitchenfire Sports, our tournament director, we may allow up to 20 teams max in Open events (based on time availability).
Actual Payouts will be based upon the number of players/teams in each OPEN event.
6 team minimum for any Open division.
