We are excited to host the Cobb County Fall Blast Pickleball Tournament at Oregon Park.

The schedule is as follows:

Saturday November 4th Mens & Womens Doubles

Sunday November 5th Mixed Doubles.

Competition each day may begin as early as 8:00 AM. Specific start times for each event will be posted and emailed to players approximately one week prior to the event.

Format is Round Robin with medal brackets or matches to follow the round robin.

Skills levels include 2.5,3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+. Teams will register as 18+ or 50+.

However, Skill levels will be divided or combined by age after registration is completed to insure that teams will play other teams of similar age.

A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player (or higher) and the age group of the younger player. Age is calculated as of 12/31/2023.

RATINGS

- Pickleballbrackets ratings will be used.

- For new players with no rating, the PickleballBrackets.com self rating will be used.

- Players who do not have a PickleballBrackets.com rating but do have an official USAPA UTPR or DUPR ratings should self rate using their DUPR or UTPR rating.

-Players with a UTPR or DUPR rating that is higher than their Pickleballbracket calculated tournament rating may be moved to the higher level at the discretion of the tournament director.

You may register and identify your partner or request "Need partner". Selecting that you "need a partner" allows other players to see that you are available to play in the tournament. We do our best to introduce players that need partners, but this selection does not mean that the tournament will find a partner for you. It is still your responsibility to find a partner.

There are no referees. Matches are self-monitored. If a referee is requested, we will do our best to provide one.

Registration fee is $50 and includes one event. Early Registration of $40 is available until Sunday Oct. 8th. Additonal events are $10. Registration includes a Southern Pickleball T-Shirt.

This tournament counts towards Southern Pickleball Rankings and qualification for the Southern Pickleball Georgia State Tournament.

Cancellation deadline is Sunday Oct 22 , 2023. No refunds for any reason after that date. Cancellations prior to that date are subject to a $15 administration fee. Southern Pickleball Association membership purchases are non refundable.

This is an outdoor tournament. There are no refunds for weather related cancellations unless a player has purchased tournament cancellation insurance.

We will make every effort to complete all events. Tournament Director reserves the right to change format, shorten games, or make any other changes they feel will help complete the event.

ALL REFUNDS will be sent within 30 days after the tournament is completed.
