Welcome to Friday Nights at Life Time Gaithersburg. We're bringing competition back with a rotating schedule of levels and formats on select Friday nights in the fall. First up is COED Doubles, max DUPR 8.5 combined, women can add .25. We hope to attract 8 teams. Life Time members, make sure you have your member ID in your profile, to get the discounted price of $40 . Non members are $50. DUPRs will be cross checked and verified as of the date of registration.
Format is best of 2/3 games to 11 win by 1, or games to 15 win by 2 depending on timing and how many groups are participating. Guaranteed games will vary based on format of 1 bracket vs 2 BUT all teams will advance to a single elimination playoff. Prize money pool will be 1/2 of registration fees collected, with prizes for 1st and 2nd place in the form a Visa Gift Card.
All matches recorded to DUPR. Host reserves the right to refuse entry to players with a combined DUPR too low or no DUPR as this has negative consequences for the DUPR algorithm. We also care deeply about the integrity of the event and remind players that this is an advanced play event, designed for players already rated above 3.75.
