Looking for some summer fun in Calgary?

Look no further than the upcoming Mixed Doubles pickleball tournament on August 19th, 2023, on the outdoor courts at Oakridge Community Centre!!

Whether you're a seasoned player or a newcomer to the game, don't miss this chance to enjoy the best of summer with a community of like-minded pickleball enthusiasts! Not only will you have the chance to enjoy a day of lively competition; you’ll get to soak up the summer sunshine, socialize and support other pickleball players as they showcase their skills on the court.

This event is exclusively for Calgary Pickleball Club members. (So, if you haven’t purchased your yearly membership with CPC, please signup at CalgaryPickleballClub.ca before registering for the tournament.)

Grab your paddles, lace up your sneakers, find your flipflops, slather on the sunscreen and get ready to serve, smash, and socialize this summer. We can't wait to see you on the court and enjoy some pickleball fun!

Registration opens June 15th @ 6:00 p.m. through PickleballBrackets.com.

Restricted to Calgary Pickleball Club members only.

Our tournament will provide age and skill based competition.

• Events will include:

o Age Groupings: 16+ Events will be divided based on age if numbers are large enough.

o Skill levels: Novice, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+

o Additional Novice Event

o Divisions: Mixed Doubles

• Events will be Double Elimination

• Matches on the "A" side will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11.

• On the “B” side of the draw matches will consist of one game to 15.

• Novice Skill Level will play Round Robin.

• Medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each bracket.

• All tournament scores will be recorded in DUPR.

• Current IFP rules will apply.

The tournament director reserves the right to combine, modify, or cancel skill levels/events and/or reschedule as needed – including circumstances beyond our control. The director also has the final say if there is a conflict in matches. Your spot is not guaranteed until both partners are registered and paid in full

- Member of PickleballBrackets.com

We ask each participant to register in the event that best represents their current playing level. The Pickleball Brackets' Software does not recognize DUPR ratings; however, as a player, you are familiar with your abilities as they relate to other players'. Please show sportsmanship when selecting your level of play.

Please ensure that your Calgary Pickleball Club (CPC) profile registration details match your Pickleball Brackets’ profile details; otherwise the tournament registration process may have difficulty identifying and accepting your current CPC membership. Please contact us if difficulties persist.

Player requested refunds will be available up until Wednesday, August 9th, 2023. All refunds are subject to a $12 administration fee ($10 administration fee and $2 Pickleball Bracket fee). No exceptions will be made after the given deadline.
