Craneway's Moneyball Tournament is a FIXED-PARTNER ROUND ROBIN style event geared to reward top place finishers with cash and other prizes. DUPR ratings will be used to verify bracket eligibility & SCORES WILL BE ENTERED INTO DUPR - DUPR ratings are taken into account at the time of registration. All participants must have a DUPR account - if you do not have an account by a week before the event, a Craneway staff member will be reaching out to have you set one up.
In order to facilitate fair play in all divisions, we will be looking at all players' DUPR ratings. As there is money on the line, DUPR ratings will be verified, and those who are registered for brackets below their DUPR rating may be asked to move up a skill bracket. EVEN IF your DUPR rating fits within the noted skill brackets, Craneway reserves the right to ask individuals to change skill brackets.
Registration is $70 + $35 per event per player. Craneway member registration is $55 + $35 per event. Craneway members will receive a separate message relaying a discount code to use at checkout. NOTE that we will be comparing registrants to our member database, so non-members attempting to use a discount code will later be charged the $15 difference in order to participate. **Please note that PickleballBrackets.com charges an additional $5 non-refundable service fee per event with a $10 cap. This fee is directed through the software and is outside our control**
**OPEN DIVISION HAS BEEN MOVED TO MAY 17-18. We have expanded our Moneyball events to include an Open/Pro Division which will be held on May 17-18. This division will be for players with a DUPR rating above a 4.5. Our Open division will also include a Senior Pro division for players 50+ with a DUPR rating above a 4.5.
