This is a USA Pickleball MMP Sanctioned Event.

USA Pickleball Membership valid through October 20th, 2024 is required for participation in this tournament per sanctioning rules. The USA Pickleball Rating system will be used by pickleballbrackets.com for tournament seeding. Please contact usapickleball.org for concerns or changes to skill rating as we do not have access to player profiles. Players may only register for one event per day. Registration and event fees are required for all players. Matches will be uploaded to DUPR except for Open and Senior Open Events!

REGISTRATION & EVENT FEES

Early Bird Registration ($49): May 15th-August 16th, 2024

Normal Registration ($69): August 17th-October 4th, 2024

Last Call Registration ($75): October 5th-October 10th, 2024

AMATEUR & OPEN LEVEL EVENTS

The events offered are for singles and doubles from the 2.5-4.5 & Open/Senior Open levels. Open/Senior Open singles and doubles events are intended for players with at least a 4.0+ UTPR Rating, however lower rated players may enter. If an Open or Senior Open event becomes full, lower rated players in those events will be moved down to a skill/age appropriate event, or placed on the waitlist.

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE

Event Format:

*1-2 Doubles Teams/Singles Players: Combined with closest appropriate skill/age event

*3 Doubles Teams/Singles Players: Double round robin with no playoffs or Combined with closest appropriate skill/age event

*4 Doubles Teams/Singles Players: True round robin with medal matches

*5-6 Doubles Teams/Singles Players: True round robin (no playoffs)

*7+ or More Doubles Teams/Singles Players: Double elimination with come around consolation bracket

Potential Match Formats:

*1 game to 11 points win by 2 points

*1 game to 15 points win by 2 points

*1 game to 21 points win by 2 points

*2 out of 3 games to 11 points win by 2 points

Please note: Tournament Director has the discretion to change event or match formats before or during the tournament especially due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

PRIZE MONEY & GIFT PRIZES

Prize money will be awarded to gold, silver, and bronze medalists for Open and Senior Open level doubles and singles events (i.e. Men's, Women's, and Mixed Open level doubles). Gift prizes will be awarded to all gold medalists outside of those events.

SPECTATORS

All friends and family are welcome to watch the event for free from outside of the courts.

*Up to registration closing registrants may withdraw/cancel and receive a full refund minus a $5 processing fee if withdrawing for one event or minus a $10 processing fee, if withdrawing from 2 events or more.

*Once registration closes there are no refunds for any reason except rain. If you do need to withdraw please do so.

*If rain only affects an event's completion, the following refund policy will be honored...

a. 0 matches played: Event fee refunded and registration fee refunded less $10 processing, event fee only refunded if player completed 2 matches in another event

b. 1 match played: Event fee only will be refunded

c. 2 matches or more have been played: No refund

Please note: Last minute withdrawals, player retirements/withdrawals for any reason during tournament competition, or no shows before or during tournament competition, that affect an event's total number of matches played are not refundable causes. The above rain refund policy applies to rain only. In the event of other weather or natural disasters there are no refunds.

All qualifying refunds will be processed no later than 2 weeks after the tournament's completion.
