Upper Bay Pickleball proudly presents the inaugural Delcastle Pickleball Challenge at the Delcastle Tennis Center pickleball courts. As with all Upper Bay Pickleball events the registration fee gets you into up to 2 events (plus $5 pickleballbrackets fees per bracket). Sign up early as there are limited spaces!!

This will be a round robin tournament with playoffs. After the round robin, the teams in 1st and 2nd place will play for gold/silver and 3rd and 4th place will play for bronze.

Round robin games will be games to 15 win by 2. Playoffs will be 2 out of 3 to 11 win by 2.

This is a DUPR based tournament with brackets based on the highest player's DUPR rating. Please register for the appropriate bracket based on your DUPR rating. If you do not have a DUPR rating, we suggest you sign up. In the case of players that do not have a DUPR rating, they will register under their pickleballbrackets rating. As always, you can play up in skill level but cannot play down. For example, if you are a 3.5 but your partner is a 4.2 you would play in the 4.0-4.5 bracket.

RULES

While this tournament isn’t sanctioned, we’ll be adhering to USA Pickleball rules, including using only paddles from the approved paddle list. Let’s play fair and play hard!

There will be no refunds given after registration closes on May 25, 2025.

Any refunds given will be the original amount minus any pickleballbrackets fees ($5 per registered bracket).

If you need a replacement partner after registration closes, please contact us. If a replacement player is found, the original player's fee will be refunded as long as the replacement player pays the registration. All replacement players must be eligible for the original bracket or the team will be moved. For example, if you are in the 3.5-4.0 bracket and try to substitute a 4.3 player, you will be moved into the 4.0-4.5 bracket.

This is an outdoor tournament. The rain date for this tournament is June 7-8. Games formats may be changed due to weather at the discretion of the tournament director.
