Welcome to the May Madness Dellinger Park Pickleball Tournament!!!
Registration fee is $40 for first event and $10 extra for second event.
Skills level: 2.0-2.5; 3.0; 3.5-4.0 Men’s & Women’s
Junior division coed: 10-13 years old
Format: Round Robin. 1 game to 11 win by 2
Doubles partners must sign up at the skill level of the higher rated partner and the age bracket of the younger partner. Please use your published USA Pickleball Tournament Rating (UTPR). If you do not have a USA Pickleball Tournament Rating, then you can self-rate.
To guarantee a spot in the tournament, the second partner must sign up and pay within 5 days of the first partner's registration. Incomplete teams will be moved to the waiting list after 5 days.
Once the second partner registers, the team will be moved back into the event IF THERE ARE SPOTS LEFT IN THE TOURNAMENT AND THE EVENT.
Round Robin format for all events. Trophies for 1st and 2nd place.
If an event has 3 teams entered, the event will be a double round robin with matches consisting of 2 out of 3 games to 11 points (win by 2). Medals determined by round robin standings - no medal rounds.
If an event has 4 teams entered, the event will be a double round robin with matches consisting of one game to 11 points (win by 2). Medals determined by round robin standings - no medal rounds.
If an event has 5 teams entered, the event will be a single round robin with matches consisting of 2 out of 3 games to 11 points (win by 2). Medals determined by round robin standings - no medal rounds.
If an event has 6 to 9 teams entered, the event will be a single round robin with matches consisting of one game to 11 points (win by 2). Medals determined by round robin standings - no medal rounds.
If an event has 10 to 16 teams entered, the event will be split into two pools with the top two teams advancing out of each pool to play in the medal rounds. All matches (pool play and medal rounds) will be one game to 11 points (win by 2).
