Delta Pickleball Inc. is proud to present Pickle Madness! Delta Pickleball Inc. (DPI) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization in Cleveland, Ms. The mission of DPI is to expand pickleball not only in Cleveland, but also in the surrounding areas in the MS Delta through free clinics and educational pickleball programs. This tournament is a fundraising opportunity in which 100% of the proceeds will go towards purchasing the equipment to do so. As we reach out to our community to grow pickleball, we are very proud to present the opportunity to have our community compete with other communities to show your skills. We have levels from beginner to advanced open and ready for you to come and show your skills.
Events are scheduled for the following:
March 28th: Mens/Womens Singles
March 29th: Mens/Womens Doubles
March 30th: Mixed Doubles
Specific start times for each event will be posted by the Monday prior to the event. You must check in daily at least 30 minutes prior to your event start.
This will be a round robin event with pool play if we have enough teams . Plan to have it to be skill/age. Desired skill brackets are 3.0 And Below, 3.0-3.5, 3.5-4.0, 4.0-4.5, and 4.5+. Desired Age brackets to be 12-34, 35-54, 55+.
A minimum of 5 teams is required for each bracket in the major Divisions. If we have 10 teams or more in a given event, we will divide the brackets into flights of 5, The top 2 teams from each bracket will play another bracket to determine the medalists. We reserve the right to adjust the brackets and score formatting.
