Divisions:

🔹 Women’s 3.0 - 4.0

🔸 Mixed Doubles 3.0

🔹 Intermediate Open 3.0 - 4.0

🔸 Advanced 4.0+

Games: 4-5 seeding games to 11, followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket! 🏆

Prizes: Amazing prizes from @joolapickleball, @cutsclothing, and more! 🎁

Food & Hydration: Included for all players. 🍽️💧

Spectators: Free to attend! Bring your home fans and cheer loud! 🎉

Refund Policy: Please note that after October 28th, we will no longer be able to offer refunds.

12:30 PM – Check-In & Warm-Up 🏓

Get ready to play! Arrive early to check in, stretch out, and warm up those dinks. Let’s set the vibe for an exciting day on the courts!

1:00 PM - 3:30 PM – Round Robin Seeding Matches

Time to hit the courts! You’ll play 4-5 matches to 11 points in a round-robin format to determine seeding for the big tournament later. Get ready for some fun competition!

3:30 PM - 4:30 PM – Lunch & Make-A-Wish Story 🍽️💙

Take a well-deserved break, grab some lunch, and gather for an inspiring moment as we hear a special story from Make-A-Wish OC. This is why we’re here—let’s remember the incredible cause we’re supporting!

4:30 PM - 7:00 PM – Single Elimination Bracket Tournament 🏆

Now it's game time! Every team qualifies, so bring your A-game as we battle it out in a single-elimination tournament for the win. Prizes, bragging rights, and an unforgettable experience are on the line!

Refund Policy Update:

We are excited to host Dinking for Charity to benefit Make-A-Wish OC on November 2nd! If something comes up, we will be able to offer refunds up until the end of October 31st. After that date, we will not be able to issue any refunds, regardless of circumstances.

Weather Update: No Refund Policy in Case of Rain

Please note that Dinking for Charity is a charity event benefiting Make-A-Wish OC. As such, in the case of rain or inclement weather, we will not be able to offer refunds. The event will proceed as planned to ensure that we fulfill our mission of supporting this important cause. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Dinking for Charity: Event Waiver and Release of Liability

By registering for or attending the Dinking for Charity Pickleball Tournament on November 2, 2024, at the Los Cab Pickleball Facility in Fountain Valley, CA, you (the “Participant”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

By participating in the tournament, the Participant acknowledges that pickleball is a physical activity with inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of personal injury, property damage, and in rare cases, death. The Participant voluntarily assumes all risks related to their participation in the tournament.

In consideration of being allowed to participate, the Participant agrees to release, waive, and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, venue, and any associated parties (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related to any injury, illness, damage, or loss sustained by the Participant or their property during or in connection with the tournament.

The Participant further agrees that this release applies to any injury or damage caused by the negligence of the Released Parties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

2. Photo and Video Consent

By attending the event, the Participant grants the event organizers and sponsors permission to take photographs and record video footage of the Participant during the tournament. The Participant consents to the use of such photos and videos for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, advertising, and event documentation, without the need for further approval or compensation.

3. Acknowledgement of Understanding

By registering for or attending this event, the Participant affirms that they have read this waiver and fully understand its terms. The Participant understands that by signing up or participating, they are voluntarily giving up legal rights, including the right to sue the Released Parties for any claims resulting from participation in the tournament.

This waiver covers liability, injury, and media consent, ensuring that participants understand and agree to these terms before attending the event. Let me know if you'd like any modifications or additions!
