DUPR Scored Tournament Information
This tournament will be DUPR scored. All players are required to have a DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) account prior to participating. DUPR is a global rating system that tracks player performance based on match results, regardless of age, gender, or location, and provides an accurate, dynamic skill rating.
Players are responsible for registering in the correct division based on their DUPR rating.
The tournament director reserves the right to move, adjust, or decline players or teams who are not appropriately placed, including cases of sandbagging.
Players are allowed to play up in higher divisions.
Team Eligibility Rules
At least one player on the team must fall within the DUPR range for the division.
No player may have a DUPR rating above the division maximum.
Example: A 3.7 rated player may compete in the 3.5–4.0 division with a 3.4 partner. That same 3.7 player may not compete in the 3.0–3.5 division.
Additional DUPR Notes
All match results will be submitted to DUPR and will impact your rating.
Players should use their full legal name in DUPR to avoid duplicate profiles.
If you do not yet have a rating, you may still register but must create an account prior to play.
Ratings can change after each match, so compete accordingly.
By registering, players agree to abide by DUPR standards and tournament placement rules.
What is sandbagging?
Sandbagging is when a player intentionally registers for a lower skill division than their true ability in order to gain an unfair advantage. This takes away from fair play and the competitive experience for others. Our goal is to create balanced, enjoyable competition for all players, so please register in the division that best matches your current level.
We appreciate your cooperation in keeping competition fair and fun for everyone.
