About The Dave Krache Foundation

Dave Krache was a caring husband, dad, and brother who always put others first—whether volunteering at Must Ministries or painting classrooms at St. Joseph’s School in Marietta. After his unexpected passing at age 57, his daughter founded The Dave Krache Foundation to honor his selflessness by helping kids play sports, regardless of financial challenges. The Foundation works with families and youth leagues to ease financial burdens, so no child is ever told they can’t play. Your tax-deductible donation stays local, helping kids in your own community.

What Is a Pickleball Tournament?

A pickleball tournament is a friendly competition where players face off in scheduled matches. It’s a great way to have fun, improve your skills, and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

Who Can Play?

All skill levels (2.5 to 4.0) are welcome. Men’s Doubles consists of two men on a team. Women’s Doubles is two women on a team. Mixed Doubles pairs one man and one woman. Singles is for solo players, and Juniors play in their own division.

Important Note: For doubles events, each partner must register separately to ensure both players’ information is collected and each spot is fully secured.

Cost to Participate

A flat registration fee of $40 covers up to three events in a single day, with the fee increasing closer to the event date. There is an additional $5 per event for Pickleball Brackets service fee, which is non-refundable. For example, if you register early and choose Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Singles, your total is $40 for registration plus $5 per bracket, totaling $55.

Donate Only (Non-Player Registration)

If you’re not planning to play but would still like to support the event, you can register as a “ghost pickleball player.” This donation-only option lets you contribute to The Dave Krache Foundation without participating in any matches.

Refund Policy

No Refunds After Deadline: No refunds will be issued for any reason after April 4, 2025. Cancellations Before Deadline: Cancellations made prior to April 4, 2025 are subject to a $10 administration fee.

Tournament Director Discretion:

The tournament director may, at their discretion, move a player to a different bracket after reviewing DUPR ratings, USA Pickleball ratings, or any publicly available rating data to ensure fair, quality play.
