REGISTERING FOR AN EVENT
The skill level of players is determined by the data in the players' Pickleball Brackets profile. The priority for determining a player's skill level is their Canadian Tournament Player Rating (CTPR). If that is lacking then their DUPR rating, and if that is lacking their Pickleball Brackets self-rating.
NOTE: players are eligible to play up to 1.0 skill level when registering for an event
Please note: To encourage participation in tournaments by those players below the 3.0 level, those players below a 3.0 rating will be allowed to register in the 3.0 skill level category.
Registration is online only at https://pickleballbrackets.com/
All registrants must be current members of Pickleball Canada to play in this tournament. To join or renew your membership please visit the PCO website at https://pickleballcanada.org/participate/individual-membership/join-renew/
Registration is not complete until BOTH partners have registered, agreed to the online waiver, and PAID in full. Online payment via Stripe. Please note: Stripe accepts credit card payments. When the maximum per event is reached based on fully registered/paid teams, others will be added to the waitlist.
Enter as a TEAM and make sure your partner registers and pays within 3 days of you registering. If a partner has not completed his/her/their registration within 3 days of the first partner registering, the team will be moved to the waitlist. When the identified partner registers, and pays, the team will be moved from the waitlist back to the active list ONLY if a slot is available. Confirm with your partner BEFORE registration to avoid disappointment. If you do not have a partner you can click on "Players Needing a Partner" to possibly find one. The tournament committee do not find partners for players.
All players must complete their registration by May 12, 2025, 8:00 p.m. to remain on the active list.
The Tournament Committee reserves the right to place players in the Skill Group based on their current CTPR/DUPR/UTPR/USAPA skill rating. The Tournament Committee has the right to make changes to the tournament, combine divisions, or change and alter the format depending on the number of registrations received.
Rain-out date is Monday, June 9, 2025 should it be required. PLEASE plan to be available for the rain-out day.
The Dash 'N Smash is a fun, double-elimination tournament. Meet other players and enjoy a couple of days of great pickleball.
Medals will be awarded in every event.
