Refund Policy
DUPR De Mayo Pickleball Tournament Refund Policy
At the DUPR De Mayo Pickleball Tournament, we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and we strive to provide a fair refund policy for our participants. Please review our refund guidelines below:
1. Refund Eligibility
Full Refund: Players who withdraw at least 30 days before the tournament start date will receive a full refund, minus any processing fees.
Partial Refund: Withdrawals made after 30 days before the tournament start date will receive a 50% refund, minus any processing fees.
No Refund: No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made within 10 days of the tournament start date or for no-shows.
2. Weather & Event Cancellation
The tournament will proceed rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe by tournament officials. In the event of a full tournament cancellation due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, participants may receive a partial refund or credit toward a future event, depending on expenses incurred.
If the tournament is partially completed before cancellation, no refunds will be issued.
3. Partner Withdrawals
If a doubles partner withdraws, the remaining player may find a replacement. If a replacement cannot be found, the remaining player will be offered a credit toward a future event.
4. Processing Fees
All refunds are subject to a processing fee to cover transaction costs. The exact amount will be specified at the time of withdrawal.
5. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests must be submitted via email to info@BigPickl.com with the subject line "Refund Request - DUPR De Mayo" and include the participant’s name, event category, and reason for withdrawal.
Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after approval.
By registering for the DUPR De Mayo Pickleball Tournament, participants agree to this refund policy.

DUPR De Mayo Pickleball Tournament Health & Safety Statement
At the DUPR De Mayo Pickleball Tournament, the health and safety of our players, spectators, and staff are our top priority. We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone participating in the event.
1. Player Health & Well-Being
Players are encouraged to stay hydrated and take necessary breaks to prevent heat-related illness.
Anyone feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness should refrain from participation and notify tournament officials immediately.
2. Emergency Preparedness
In case of an emergency, medical personnel and first aid stations will be accessible at the venue.
AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) will be available, and tournament staff will be trained in CPR and basic first aid.
Emergency evacuation routes and procedures will be clearly posted and announced before matches begin.
3. Heat & Weather Precautions
Shade areas and cooling stations will be provided to help players and spectators stay cool.
Matches may be delayed or adjusted in cases of extreme heat, lightning, or severe weather conditions.
Sunscreen and protective gear are recommended for all participants.
4. Court Safety & Equipment
Players must wear proper footwear to reduce the risk of slipping or injury.
Courts will be inspected regularly to ensure they are free of hazards.
Players should avoid reckless play that could endanger themselves or others.
5. COVID-19 & Communicable Illnesses
Players and spectators are encouraged to practice good hygiene, including handwashing and sanitizing.
If any participant exhibits symptoms of illness, they should self-isolate and seek medical attention.
Health guidelines will be followed in accordance with local and national health authorities.
By participating in the DUPR De Mayo Pickleball Tournament, all attendees acknowledge their responsibility in maintaining a safe environment and agree to follow the outlined health and safety measures.
