Etown Pickleball Open

Rescheduled to October 5th (Original date was Sept 28th, 2024)

Open Age 3.0 & 3.5 & Men's Doubles 4.0+ Events

Limit 12 teams per event (16 for Mixed) split into two round robin pools. Top two teams from each pool will advance to the medal round. In the event the team limit is not met, the round robin and medal matches will be changed. Every attempt will be made to maximize games played with the time available.

The Pickleball Brackets system automatically applies tie breaker logic for the round robin rounds after scores are added. We will have a page showing the logic used at the check-in desk.

Registration fee is $35/pp + $5 non-refundable service fee includes first event.

Second event $15/pp + $5 additional service fee.

Due to the rescheduling, we are reopening the registration.

You can register until Wed, Oct. 2nd at 11:55pm Eastern

**If you are currently registered, can't play on the makeup date and have someone that can swap with you, please have them signup for a free pickleball brackets account and let us know their name. You can just have them pay you for the registration if they are taking your place and we will not charge them on our side.

*After the tournament registration closes, we will publish and notify players of any changes to the schedule. Once draws are created, we will give more specific start times as well.

All events are a doubles format. If a teammate does not register within 5 days then the first player will be placed on the waiting list automatically. Both players will be notified by e-mail. Once the second player registers then the "team" will be moved off the waiting list ONLY if there is still room in the event. (Limit 12 teams per event)

***PLEASE NOTE REFUND POLICY ***

1. The deadline for withdrawing and requesting a refund is September 20th, 2024. Please note, Pickleballbrackets service fee of $5 is nonrefundable.

All refunds will be paid approximately 2 weeks after the tournament has ended in the form of a check.

Expenses for this tournament are substantial and that puts us in the position of not being able to provide refunds after this deadline.

2. THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT! There will be NO refunds or credits due to weather. If event is unable to start due to weather, we will try to makeup the tournament on the following day. If weather is a factor, we will do all we can to play matches. There is no indoor back up plan for this tournament.

Weather Forecast for Sat. October 5th: Mainly sunny. Highs in Low to Mid 80s. Winds light and variable. If you have an early morning match, temperature could be in the low to mid 60s so dress for your comfort.
