Welcome to our annual Fairfield Glade Pickleball Classic! This is a double elimination bracketed skill/age tournament for divisions with 6 or more entries and round-robin for 5 or fewer. (Final format may change based on total entries.) Players will be scheduled for at least three games. All registered and paid players prior to July 11 will receive a t-shirt for playing. Players will receive one lunch ticket for each day they are playing. We will offer practice play on Friday afternoon following the singles event. Cost to register is $35 and events are $5 each. A $5 service fee is added for up to 2 events by Pickleball Brackets. Players will need a DUPR account to register as this will determine your level to play at. This is also a USA Pickleball Sanctioned tournament so all players will need to a member at the challenger level.
Singles will be played on Friday, July 24, Doubles on Saturday, July 25 and Mixed Doubles on Sunday, July 26.
We will offer play in the following skill levels, 2.5,3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5-5.0 within age divisions 19-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. Note for divisions with fewer than 3 teams, brackets will be consolidated with the next closest age division. Medals will be awarded for the top three in each bracket. We will cut off registrations if we reach 250 entries.
Players may participate in one event per day. Scores from the tournament will be entered into DUPR.
