1. ROUND ROBIN PLAY - lots of matches.

*** Entry fees back for G/S/B if less than 8 teams. 8-11 teams = 400/200/150. 12 teams = 500/300/200 per teams.

***IMPORTANT*** The registration is not complete for all doubles events until BOTH PLAYERS have been registered SEPARATELY and PAID. To do this, each player must have their own player account set up on pickleballbrackets.com BEFORE the players begin the tournament registration process. A partner has 24 HOURS to register after their partner has registered. After 24 hours, the team will be moved to the waitlist. The team will enter into the event, as long as it is not full, right when both partners have signed up.
Ratings are DUPR.
If an event is FULL, make sure to join the waitlist! Some events will shrink if we have limited registrations and some may expand. Based on registration numbers, the registration maximum number for specific events may be subject to change at any time during the registration process.
We may have to combine any age with 50+, if necessary, to have a tournament for that level. We will NOT move a team up or down levels without their permission.
Players can only register for a single event in each grouping.
EVENT TIMES WILL BE SET APPROXIMATELY FOUR (4) DAYS BEFORE EACH EVENT'S START.
REFUND POLICY: no refunds other than if an event has to be canceled due to lack of registrations.
In the rare instance the tournament does not take place on the scheduled date, for circumstances outside of our control, there will be a makeup date.

Note: To maintain the integrity of each event, the tournament director reserves the right to use rating systems to withdraw or change a player's registration status in a particular event.

DETAILS:
1. This tournament is NOT sanctioned. You do not have to be a USAPA member, so you do not have to pay any extra fees! All results will go to DUPR.
2. DUPR ratings are used for event placement. For beginners or without a DUPR, you can self rate at any level. You can always "play up" but players should not self rate lower than actual ability level.
LOCATION:
This tournament will be held in the state-of-the-art University of Mary Washington tennis facility (University Tennis Center, 1200 Hanover St, Fredericksburg, VA 22401).
There is plenty of space for play, spacious hallways and an upper deck area for the best views overlooking all the courts. Chairs are not permitted on the courts. There are benches alongside the courts for players/limited spectators/coaches. There will be 12 courts with a combination of temporary durable “pro-grade” nets and temporary portable nets.
SCHEDULE: PLEASE CLEAR YOUR SCHEDULES FOR THE DAYS YOU PLAN TO PLAY. Official Start times will be posted approximately 5 days before the tournament start date. Goal is for events to finish in a 3 hour window.
- Gender Doubles will be on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026....start times usually 8:30/11:30/2:30/ and possibly 5:30 for this event.
-Mixed Doubles will be on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2026....start times usually 10:30/1:30/4:30 for mixed.
Ball:
• Lime Green Franklin X-40 outdoor ball. Per the updated 2023 USA Pickleball rules, please do not wear predominately lime green apparel or you will be asked to change
Cost:
• Registration - $30 per person.
• Each Event - $25 per event (up to 2 events)
• PB Brackets Website fee - $5 per event
- Non sanctioned keeps the fees down!
