Tournament Description

Welcome to the Life Time Canton Fall Classic Moneyball Championship!

Get ready for a high-energy, competitive weekend of doubles pickleball where every division will compete for cash prizes! This tournament is open to both Life Time members and non-members, so grab your partner and get ready to compete in Singles, Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, and Open Doubles divisions.

Spots are limited, with regular divisions capped at 7 teams and Open divisions capped at 10 teams. Full cash payouts are based on divisions reaching full capacity and may be adjusted if a division does not fill.

Registration: $50 + $15 per event

Early Bird Registration: $40 before October 10

Open Division: $50 registration + $50 Open/event fee

Registration Deadline: November 10, 2026

Please note: The registration fee does not include event fees. Event fees are added separately for each division entered.

Tournament Format: Regular divisions will play a full round robin followed by a championship bracket. A full 7-team division guarantees each team 6 matches. Games will be played to 11, win by 2.

Open Divisions: Men’s Open and Mixed Open will be capped at 10 teams. A full Open division will be split into two pools of 5, with the top teams advancing to a championship bracket. Championship match format may vary.

Divisions will be separated by skill level to create competitive and balanced matchups.

Register early to secure your spot and take advantage of Early Bird pricing. Once a division fills, registration will move to a waitlist.

Additional Information

You must sign up with a partner, and both team players must individually complete their registration (no ghost icon) within 3 days, or they will be moved to the Wait List. For those needing a partner, you will be moved to the Wait List.

The higher DUPR between a pair should serve as a benchmark for determining the appropriate division in which a team competes. For Gender Doubles, both players should fall within the specified skill range. For Mixed Doubles, the combined average of both players must fall within the specified skill range. Teams may exceed the division limit by no more than 0.5. Players may play up in skill level and should avoid playing down.

Tournament Director reserves the right to verify DUPR ratings and use a player’s performance history from past tournaments or events to adjust or withdraw a player’s registration. Teams suspected of sandbagging, including those with low DUPR reliability scores or No Rating, may be subject to penalties, including forfeiture of prize money, forfeiture of DUPR matches, and suspension from Life Time.

Refund Policy

Plans change, and we understand. Please review the cancellation and refund policy below:

The PickleballTournaments service fee ($5 per event) and Stripe processing fees ($10.00) are non-refundable.

Cancellations made 14 days or more before the tournament start date are eligible for a full refund, minus applicable service and processing fees.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 14 days of the tournament or for no-shows.

If Life Time Canton cancels an event, players will receive a full refund or may apply the credit toward a future event.

Player substitutions are allowed up to 72 hours before the event with staff approval.

Prize Money

Money prize is total amount for each division. Full payout is based on 10 team minimum participation for the Open and 7 teams minimum for the other divisions.

Open – $1,300 total payout

1st: $700 | 2nd: $400 | 3rd: $200

4.0–4.49 – $300 total payout

1st: $175 | 2nd: $85 | 3rd: $40

3.5–3.99 – $200 total payout

1st: $125 | 2nd: $50 | 3rd: $25

3.0–3.49 – $200 total payout

1st: $125 | 2nd: $50 | 3rd: $25

Health & Safety

Your safety is our priority.

Please arrive hydrated and continue drinking water throughout the event. Take time to warm up before your first match and listen to your body between games.

Staff and first-aid supplies will be available throughout the tournament. If you feel dizzy, short of breath, or unwell at any time, stop playing and notify a staff member.

Please do not participate if you are sick or have a fever.

In the event of an emergency, our team will contact 911 and assist emergency responders as needed.
