Welcome to the Families 4 Families "There's No Place Like Home" Pickleball Palooza! Families 4 Families works to provide Christian foster families to children in need across Georgia, and a support network for the birth family, the children, and the foster families that unites them in growth and healthy relationships.

Our goal is to raise enough this year to open TEN new foster homes. Vetting and opening a home costs around $5,000. Supporting one child for a year is around $2,500. Families for Families hopes this tournament will raise awareness that foster care can be done right, and through mentorship, can serve as a pivotal blessing that helps to strengthen the whole family.

The tournament will be played at Rhythm & Rally Sport & Events in Macon, GA, currently the largest indoor pickleball facility in the world!

SCHEDULE OF PLAY

November 15, 2025

Competition will run from 8am-4pm. Specific start times for each event will be posted and emailed to players approximately one week prior to the event.

The registration cost is $55 with early bird rate of $50 through September 1st. Players may register for up to 2 events (PB charges $5/event). First event is covered by registration fee. Additional event is $10. Last day to register and be guaranteed a FREE tournament shirt is November 1, 11:55pm.

Brackets will be split by age when registration closes. Players will be emailed bracket/event details the week prior to the tournament start date. Tournament management reserves the option to combine brackets or split age brackets as necessary. If brackets are combined after event details are emailed out, awards will be based on the original bracket to which a player registered or was assigned. Tournament management also reserves the right to convert brackets to double elimination if necessary.

Skills levels include 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+ in gender doubles and mixed doubles (no singles matches this year).

A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player (or higher) and the age group of the younger player. Age is calculated as of 12/31/2025.

RATINGS

- DUPR ratings will be used.

- Tournament Director reserves the right to move a player to a higher/lower level at their discretion. By default, players may play 'up'.

You may register and identify your partner or request "Need partner". Your partner must register within five days of your registration or the team will be moved to the wait list. When the identified partner registers after the five day grace period, the team will automatically move from the wait list back to the active list if there is a slot available and both teams have paid.

NOTE: Your spot in the tournament is not guaranteed until your partner has registered and all fees have been paid in full.

There are no referees. Matches are self-monitored. If a referee is requested, we will do our best to provide one.

This tournament adheres to the guidelines set forth in the USA Pickleball Rulebook. All gameplay, officiating, and judgment decisions during our events are based on these rules to ensure consistency and fairness for all players.

We encourage all participants to familiarize themselves with the USA Pickleball Rulebook to understand the standards and expectations that govern our games. Lizella Community Pickleball allows paddles that are on the official USA Pickleball paddle list. It is the player's responsibility to make sure their paddle is currently approved by USA Pickleball for tournament play. https://equipment.usapickleball.org/paddle-list/

If a player is found to be using unapproved equipment during tournament play, they automatically forfeit. The game will be called and a win recorded for the opposing team.

Additionally, all players will be held to the Southern Pickleball Code of Conduct which can be found on their website at southernpickleball.com/code-of-conduct.

Withdraw deadline is October 31st at midnight. Players may withdraw prior to then for any reason and receive a refund minus a $20 administrative fee. November 1 on, there are no refunds for any reason. This is an indoor tournament. Additionally, player registration fees may not be transferred to other players.

This is an indoor tournament so rain/wind/temps should not be a concern.
