Get ready for a fun-filled day of pickleball and community spirit! The Ferryway School, in partnership with Malden Recreation, invites you to our Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser. This special event brings together friends, family, and the community in support of our 6th graders' field trip to Nature's Classroom—a unique opportunity for students to step outside the classroom and engage in hands-on learning experiences in a natural setting.

The tournament will take place in the Salemwood School gymnasium at 529 Salem Street in Malden, with ample free parking available for all guests in the back lot.

We’re excited to offer three competitive brackets in a double-elimination format, guaranteeing a day full of excitement and friendly competition. Here’s the tournament schedule:

12:30–2:30 p.m.: Players with skill levels 3.0 and under

3:00–5:00 p.m.: Players with skill levels 3.5 Only

5:00–7:00 p.m.: Players with skill levels 4.0 and above

Bring your best game, enjoy the camaraderie, and support a great cause! Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.

At Nature's Classroom, our students will learn valuable skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership while exploring environmental science, participating in team-building activities, and creating lifelong memories. For many, this trip becomes a milestone in their personal and academic growth—a journey of discovery that builds confidence and fosters connections with their peers.

Whether you're a seasoned pickleball player or trying it out for the first time, this event promises a fantastic day of friendly competition, laughter, and shared purpose. With every game you play, you'll be making a direct impact on our students' education and helping ensure that every child has the opportunity to participate in this transformative experience.
