Tournament Description

First Serve of the Year Classic Tournament: Coed Doubles, max DUPR 8.5 combined. We hope to attract 8 teams. Life Time Fitness members, make sure you have your member ID in your profile, to get the discounted price of $40. Non-members are $50. DUPRs will be cross checked and verified as of the date of registration.

Guaranteed games will vary based on format of 1 bracket vs 2 BUT all teams will advance to a single elimination playoff.

All matches recorded to DUPR. Host reserves the right to refuse entry to players with a combined DUPR too low or no DUPR as this has negative consequences for the DUPR algorithm. We also care deeply about the integrity of the event and remind players that this is not a beginner event, designed for mid intermediate players and above, provided the DUPR math is below 7.5 combined.

Players in violation of Life Time policy or DUPR policy may be disqualified from, or denied entry into, tournament. Tournament Director has authority to penalize, disqualify & ban players/teams for poor behavior or ratings manipulation. Tournament Director has final say in permitting players to play in respective skill levels, this is meant to uphold the integrity of the tournament to make games fun & competitive. No sandbagging!!

Refund Policy

Refunds will be given to those who withdraw before registration closes on January 7, 2026. Refunds will also be given to players that remain on a waitlist after tournament completion. All other refunds will be based on the Tournament Director’s discretion.

*Replacement Players/Subbing* Entry fees may be transferred to a replacement player/sub of similar skill level at any time up through the morning of the event.

For Example: A player won’t be able to attend the tournament but has a replacement/sub. Can the replacement/sub take my spot? Yes, only if the player is of similar level, then the sub can take your spot for tournament play; payment would need to be worked out amongst yourselves.

*Refunds will be processed after the tournament is over and can take several weeks to process.
