The Fort Washington Swim & Tennis Club Pickleball Tournament is being held May16-18, 2025. Men's & women's singles will be Friday May 16th, men's & women's doubles will be Saturday May 17th, and mixed doubles will be Sunday May 18th.
FORMAT
This is a double elimination tournament. Winner’s bracket matches play best of three games to 11 points, win by 2. Consolation bracket matches play one game to 15 points, win by 2. Two timeouts may be taken per team per game. All matches within a bracket will be chosen at random (including first round byes if applicable). Brackets may be combined, separated, or altered at the tournament director’s discretion. There will be one referee present, but players should expect their matches to be self-officiated.

COST
The price to compete is $40 registration fee plus $10 per event. This includes the fee charged by Pickleball Brackets.
EQUIPMENT
All events will play with the Franklin X-40 except for the open division which will play Dura Fast 40.
RULES AND SANCTIONED DESIGNATION
To the best of our ability, this tournament adheres to USAPA rules unless otherwise specified. This is a non-sanctioned event.
AWARDS
Medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each bracket.
Refund Policy
75% refund if canceled before May 1, 2024. No refunds after this deadline. This is an outdoor event. No refunds due to rain. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occurs the tournament coordinators will do all they can to play matches. If brackets are in mid play when a weather or unforeseen circumstance occurs the situation will be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine if the bracket may be finished or if winners may be determined.
If the event is canceled due to weather there will be a full refund of the entry fees minus a $5 (per event) processing fee.
