Come join us March 29-30, 2025 at the beautiful Ardea Country Club for the Fourth Annual Tunnel to Towers (“T2T”) Pickleball for Heroes Tournament to help raise funds that provide critical assistance to our nation’s catastrophically injured military personnel, our firefighters and police officers who put their lives and livelihood on the line every single day and our 1st Responders who help save the lives of our friends and neighbors. Mark on your calendar that for all of our pickleball and tennis players, we are holding a cocktail reception on Saturday, March 29th from 5:00-7:00 pm. There will be complimentary appetizers with a cash bar and lots of fun socializing.

The new start times and names of each event are noted below. Please be there at least 30 minutes prior to your start time, in order to register and warmup.

Women's and Men's Doubles matches, and Single matches will be on Saturday March 29, 2025.

All Mixed Doubles matches will be on Sunday March 30, 2025.

All Men's and Women's 3.0 Events (maximum of 6 teams) and the Men's and Women's Single Events (maximum of 6 players) that will be held on Saturday morning will be a Round Robin format: each game will be to 11, win by 1 point.

Format for all other events (greater than 6 teams) will be Double Elimination – 3 Game Minimum Play

1st Round for all events will be “Best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 1 point”. Switch sides after 1st and 2nd games and if there is a 3rd game, switch sides after the leading team reaches 6 points.

Teams that win remain in the Winners Bracket and the Teams that lose go into the Consolation Bracket.

All subsequent rounds are a Single game to 11, win by 1 point, and switch sides after the leading team reaches 6 points.

Double elimination - the winner of the consolation bracket plays undefeated winner of the winner’s bracket. If the championship final game results in 2 teams with one loss each, then they play a 2nd game to 11 to determine 1st place and 2nd place.

Each player needs to sign up individually.

Registration fee (includes one event): $70, Second event fee: $40

Partner search is the responsibility of the player.

We are using the 2025 USA Pickleball Rules

Pickleball Check-in opens at 7am and is by the pickleball courts. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your match’s starting time. Have your identification ready for a seamless registration process. (You do need to check-in to play in your event. You will receive your gift bag and t-shirt at the Check-In Tent.)

No players may warm up until after they have registered. Please understand that there may be vendors setting up at this time as well. Tournament staff will not start registration until the registration desk opens.

Pre-tournament meetings will be 10 minutes before your event start time. At this meeting, we'll go over everything you need to know before diving into the action!

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY - This event is an outdoor event. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occurs, we will do all it can to play matches. If brackets are in mid play when a weather or unforeseen circumstance occurs, the situation will be evaluated case-by-case.
