Friendly City Fall Mountain Classic
Refund & Weather Policy
We understand that plans and weather can change. Our goal is to provide a fair policy for players while allowing Friendly City Pickleball to properly plan and prepare for the tournament.
Player Withdrawals
Players may withdraw from the tournament through September 27, 2026 at 11:59 PM and receive a refund, less any applicable platform or processing fees.
After the withdrawal deadline, registration fees are non-refundable because tournament brackets, shirts, swag bags, staffing, venue arrangements, and other event expenses will have been finalized.
If a partner withdraws, Friendly City Pickleball will make every reasonable effort to assist in finding an eligible replacement partner, but a replacement is not guaranteed.
Weather & Rain
The Friendly City Fall Mountain Classic is an outdoor tournament. Weather conditions may require delays, temporary suspension of play, schedule adjustments, court changes, or modifications to the tournament format.
Friendly City Pickleball will make every reasonable effort to complete as much of the tournament as possible while prioritizing the safety of players, staff, and volunteers.
Weather updates and schedule changes will be communicated through the tournament platform and player text notifications.
Tournament Cancellation
If severe weather or unsafe playing conditions require the tournament to be canceled before play begins, Friendly City Pickleball will determine the appropriate refund or credit based on the circumstances and non-recoverable event expenses.
If tournament play has already begun, refunds or credits may be adjusted based on the amount of play completed and expenses already incurred.
If the tournament can be completed through delays, rescheduling, or modified formats, refunds will not automatically be issued.
Player Responsibility
Players are responsible for monitoring tournament communications and reporting for their scheduled matches unless notified otherwise.
Players who choose not to participate because of weather after the tournament proceeds, or players who do not show for their scheduled matches, are not eligible for a refund.
By registering for the Friendly City Fall Mountain Classic, players acknowledge that this is an outdoor event and agree to this Refund & Weather Policy.
Tournament Cancellation
If severe weather or unsafe playing conditions require the tournament to be canceled before any tournament play begins, registered players will receive a full registration refund, less any non-refundable platform or processing fees.
If tournament play has already begun and weather prevents the tournament from being completed, Friendly City Pickleball will determine an appropriate partial refund or credit based on the amount of play completed and non-recoverable event expenses.
If the tournament is delayed or rescheduled and can still be completed, refunds will not automatically be issued.
If a player chooses not to participate because of weather after the tournament proceeds as scheduled, that player is not eligible for a refund.
Friendly City Pickleball will communicate any cancellation, delay, or schedule changes through PickleballTournaments.com and player text notifications.
