Welcome to the first ever Gainesville Pickleball Classic! In partnership with the 300 Club, we hope to create an amazing doubles tournament for all ages while benefiting an amazing local charity.
We are proud to announce that we are donating all proceeds from registration to the 2021 Walk to End Alzheimer's, a local non-profit event that contributes to researching Alzheimer's locally. For more information on the 2021 Walk to End Alzheimer's, look at their website here:

The 300 Club has 6 dedicated pickleball courts with portable nets for use during the tournament.
Balls will be Franklin X-40.
This will be a round robin tournament with combinations of skill and age. All games are win by 2 points.
Each bracket for Men's and Women's Doubles is currently capped at 6 teams, while Mixed Doubles is capped at 8 teams except for the 19-49 4.5+ which is capped at 6 teams. Additional teams may be added later depending on demand. Brackets are subject to change depending on registrants.
Age groups are 19-49, 50-59, and 65+ for most skill levels. Ages 19-49 will have one bracket of 4.5+, other age groups will have 4.0 and 4.5 grouped together.
Age is calculated as of 12/31/2021.
Each team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player or higher and the age of the younger player.
Skill levels are: 3.0 to 3.5, 4.0 (to 4.5 in higher age groups), and 4.5+ (age 19-49). We will be using self-rating; PLEASE BE COURTEOUS TO OTHERS AND ACCURATELY RATE YOURSELF.
Brackets will be assigned designated courts for the entire bracket. Teams will return to the tournament desk after their bracket has been completed to determine winners and present awards.
No matches at this tournament will have referees. This tournament is not sanctioned by the USAPA.

Additional Information
Registration is $25 from Feb. 26 to March 4.
Registration is $30 from March 5 to March 31.
Registration is $35 from April 1 to April 16.
Registration is $40 from April 17 to April 21.
Each event is $5, with a maximum of 2 events.
There will be NO REGISTRATION after April 21!
Shirts can be purchased at the event or via registration for $22 each.
Raffle tickets can now be purchased at the event or via registration!

Waitlist teams will pay when moved into an active bracket.
Players who register and pay but do not have a partner at the registration deadline will not be refunded.
Registration and payment is online through this website only, and there will be no mail-in or in-person registration at the time of the tournament.
Payment is made through the PayPal portal. You do not have to have a PayPal account and can pay as a PayPal guest. You can use Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express cards that have a registered billing address to make PayPal payments. PayPal only supports bank debit cards issued by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
All fees paid are final, excluding the waitlist methods specified above.

Due to COVID-19, everyone will be required to wear a face covering unless you are playing in a game on the courts. You will also have your temperature checked each day when you check in. Spectators are allowed off the courts and should maintain social distancing. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4F or 38.0C or higher will not be able to remain at the venue.
Non-players may also register for free to volunteer or to make purchases that require payment.
Purchases can also be made at the event, including t-shirts and raffle tickets.
In the case of weather delays or cancellation, we will consider an alternate date to play the tournament events.
