REGISTERING
To register, you will need to create a free Pickleball Tournaments account that is linked to a current Pickleball Australia / Pickleball Victoria membership and DUPR account.
Participants may enter more than one event during the tournament, all events need to be in a different category e.g., Split Age, Mixed Doubles, Gender Doubles,
Tournament will utilise DUPR to determine eligible skill brackets.
PLAYER ELIGIBITY
Players may enter age events based on their age as at Dec 31 2026. Doubles events will be based on a players appropriate DUPR rating at close of registration.
For Doubles, you must sign up at the skill level of the higher-rated partner. Players may enter a doubles event without a partner however it is the responsibility of the participant to source a partner and have them enter to secure a position.
Players are guaranteed minimum three games per event. Medals will be awarded to gold, silver and bronze winning competitors in each bracket.
Events will run with a minimum of 4 or more players/pairings.
WAITLIST:
Doubles: players will automatically be allocated a position in the main draw, UNLESS the event is at capacity. Teams who have both players enter the event, will be prioritised over a player who fails to secure a partner. Teams that do not have both partners registered will be moved to the waitlists after 7 days. Teams will only be moved back after both teams are entered if the main draw is not full.
At the close of registration the Tournament Director will determine if waitlisted players can/cannot be added to the event based on venue capacity at any given time.

It is a condition of entry that all attendees understand that they may be photographed or filmed at the event and that these images may be stored and used by Latrobe City Council, Pickleball Australia Association, our sponsors on websites, social media and other purposes without express permission or payment.
DIRECTOR'S DISCRETION
The tournament director reserves the right to:
- Review, and possibly alter the rating of players who self-rate below or above their actual ability.
- Move players and teams between skill level brackets if on verification the wrong event has been entered.
- Change start times to facilitate smooth running of the tournament
- The tournament director reserves the right to modify the events and/or schedule as required
- Accept/reject waitlisted player entries after registration close based on venue capacity at any given time.
The tournament director will merge or split events and age groups based on event registration.
Events with less than 4 players/teams will be merged with another event at their discretion.
All players affected by a merge, will be notified by email.
EVENT FORMATS
All events will be played using a Round Robin format. The top two performers from each pool (four if one pool) will go through to a single elimination pre-medal knock out draw. Winners of the semi finals will compete in the Gold medal match and semi final losers will compete in the bronze medal match.
Singles, Gender Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Hybrid Doubles will use the traditional scoring method and the below game formats:
First to 15, win by 2 [5 or less players/teams in the pool]
First to 11, win by 2, [6 or more players/teams in the pool]
Pre- Medal (semi finals & quarterfinals), first to 15, win by 2.
Medal matches will be best of 3 games, first to 11, win by 2.
COURT ALLOCATION AND RESULT ENTRY
This tournament will be using text messaging service for match and court allocation and digital scoresheets. Please ensure your Pickleball.com profile is up to date prior to the tournament. On tournament day, present and sign in at the registration desk, bring your phone and reading glasses in order to be able to read text messages and enter your results.
VENUE
The venue has lined indoor courts and yellow Franklin balls will be used.
The Cafe will be available throughout the tournament offering a range of hot and cold food, barista coffee, snacks and cold drinks.
There is parking at the facility and surrounding streets. Please allow plenty of time to find a park before your event.
