Welcome to the 2026 Global Indoor Fall Pickleball Tournament.
Online registration opens 7:00 am on Friday, September 18th. Global Fitness members will have a pre-registration option for advance registration. Registration closes at 7:00 pm on Friday, October 23rd.
Global Pickleball Club is hosting a round robin tournament, indoors at Global Fitness and Racquet Centre, Kelowna, BC. All games will be to 15, win by 2, no cap, with the top 4 teams advancing to playoffs. Events with 2 pools will have pre-medal matches, and events with 1 pool, 1st & 2nd will play for gold and silver, 3rd & 4th will play for bronze, all games to 15, win by 2. This is a sanctioned, level 2 tournament and all medal matches will be officiated.
GENDER DOUBLES AGE GROUPS
For Men's and Women's 3.5 and 4.0 doubles events, players will register in their appropriate skill level. At the time of registration there will only be one age group, e.g., ANY AGE. When registration closes the teams will be divided into groups based on the age of teams signed up. The tournament director will determine if the groups are split into events of 5 teams or 10 teams with 2 pools, or some other split, depending on the ages of players signed up.
ALL 4.5+above events (Men's, Women's, Mixed) - At least 1 member of the team must be rated 4.5 or higher. Only 1 member of a team can be rated up to 0.5 below 4.5 skill.
If a higher skill level does not have 5 teams or a multiple of five teams and the next lower skill level has a wait list, then the highest rated team in the lower skill level will be asked if they wish to play up and a team from the wait list will be incorporated into the lower skill level.
Events with 3 teams registered will default to a double round robin to ensure that everyone plays as much as possible.
Friday November 6th will be Mixed Doubles, 3.5 & under 55+, 4.0 55+ and 4.5 55+. Players who register in these three events can also register for the waitlist of the Mixed Doubles Age Any events on Sunday November 8th, however priority will be given to players/teams who did not play on Friday. Men's and Women's Doubles will be on Saturday November 7th. Mixed Doubles, Age any events will be on Sunday November 8th for all skill levels.
The Tournament Director has the right to modify all event formats and categories (including skill levels and age groups) as needed depending on registrations. This includes the right to combine or split events based on registrations and change match score format.
The tournament ball is the yellow Franklin X. If a player is wearing clothing that is the same or similar colour as the ball, s/he might be asked to change apparel by the Tournament Director. ALL paddles must be listed on the USAPA Approved paddle list. It is the player's responsibility to ensure their paddle is approved.
IMPORTANT - You must have a current Pickleball Canada membership and a Pickleballbrackets profile with a linked DUPR account to register. Please make sure your profile is up to date and is linked to your DUPR account before attempting to register for the tournament. Members of Global Fitness & Racquet Centre will have the option for advanced registration. Tournament results will be submitted to DUPR and will affect player's DUPR rating.
