We hope you'll join us at our first tournament, the Grand Lake Paddle Battle to be held outside on our new courts next to Grand Lake municipal offices from August 21 to 23.
The goal of this tournament is FUN. We are a small club with new facilities and we're anxious to share our enthusiam for the sport by hosting this tournament. We hope to attract many players who are new to the game and anxious to improve their skills. We have dedicated the first day of the schedule to novice players who may not have had a previous opportunity to test their skills in a tournament format.
Registration fees
Per event $35
When registering, the form will show a Service Fee. After registering, please e-transfer $35 per event per player PLUS THE SERVICE FEE ($5US) to the following email through your online bank provider:

Round robin + Single elimination playoffs
PLAYOFFS:
The number of teams to qualify for playoffs 4.
Bronze: 1 game to 11 points, win by 2
Final (Gold/Silver): 1 game to 11 points win by 2

SCHEDULE:
August 21- Men, Women and Mixed Doubles NOVICE (2.0 to 2.999)
August 22- Men's and Women's Doubles (3.0 and above brackets) except 4.0 and above
August 23- Mixed Doubles (3.0 and above brackets) plus 4.0 and above Men's and Women's
Events may be combined depending on the number of registrations received and the availability of courts.
MINIMUM OF 3 GAMES GUARANTEED FOR ALL EVENTS
Tournament format can change depending on the number of registrations
If you withdraw from the tournament and you register again, you may be subject to additional fees. The Tournament Director is not responsible for any additional costs associated with a player's re-registration. Fees will be the responsibility of the player only.
YOUR REGISTRATION WILL BE CONSIDERED COMPLETE WHEN BOTH PARTNERS HAVE FULLY PAID THEIR REGISTRATION. Players have 5 days to complete payment or they will be put on the waiting list, which will not guarantee your place in the tournament.
Pools and brackets will be available 1 day prior to the tournament. Each player is responsible to view the bracket to ensure they appear in the bracket they registered for. Also NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE TO THE POOLS ONCE THEY ARE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING TO THE PLAYERS even if many teams from the same area are in the same pool.
