Hawaii’s premiere pickleball event, Hawaii Pacific Health ESPN Honolulu Open will be held at Hawaii's largest indoor pickleball venue, the Hawaii Convention Center, featuring over 33 indoor courts, pro exhibitions, a competitive ProAm tournament with prize money, expansive product expo, corporate team challenges and more! Hawaii Pacific Health ESPN Honolulu Open will attract pickleball players and enthusiasts from Hawaii and around the world, serving an annual destination event.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Hui Mahi‘ai ‘Āina.

Hui Mahi‘ai ‘Āina works to improve the quality of life for those in need, including the houseless population in Waimānalo, through programs that provide resources, education, and opportunities for self-sufficiency. What does it mean to be registered?

* Player in a doubles event; both players have registered and both players have paid their tournament fees within 14 days of the first player.

You or your team could be moved to the waitlist:

* If your partner (doubles) has not registered/paid within the 14 day window

ALL ROUND ROBIN WITH PLAYOFFS OF THE TOP TEAMS

**Tournament Format - Amateur (No prize money)

4 & 5 teams in Pool/Round Robin - games are 1 to 15 win by 2

6 & 7 teams in Pool/Round Robin - games are 1 to 11 win by 2

All lead in games (to the playoffs) are 1 to 15 win by 2 (for example: top four teams, 1 vs 4 & 2 v 3 (first round of playoffs are called the "lead-in matches")

Bronze Matches 1 to 15 win by 2

Gold Matches are the players choice of 2 out of 3 to 11 win by 2 OR 1 to 15 win by 2

Tournament Director reserves the option to combine events as needed if events do not fill. If events are combined, awards will be based on the original event and not the combined event

Sanctioning/Rules: This is a non-sanctioned tournament and will follow Official USA Pickleball rules.

Equipment standards:

Amateur (4.0 and under) all approved USA Pickleball rules

Semipro and Pro (4.5+) will have the option for the UPAA approved paddles in addition to the USAP paddles.

There will be a head referee on site to settle all rules questions and settle disputes. Matches will be self-refereed, although we will do our best to recruit referees for finals matches.

We reserve the right to refuse service at any time

$20 admin fee for all refunds until 3/31/25

Up to 50% refund for any refund request after 3/31/25

All minimum ratings are now removed.

The Pro/Open Division is designed for the 5.0 and up players

Payouts will be based on the # of registrations in each division.

12 teams will have a $1500

8 teams or more will be Double Elimination

The Semi-Pro Division is designed for the 4.5 and up players

Payout dependent on # of teams per division.

6 Team minimum will have a $500 payout. If age divisions are combined, only the top three teams will have a payout.

8 teams or more will be Double Elimination
