A great tournament to welcome in the fall season!
We have 10 dedicated hard courts with permanent nets, and since we are an indoor facility, we won't need to worry about weather!
All events are round robin with a single elimination round for medals EXCEPT for the Open Divisions which will be a Moneyball and playing for cash prizes!
The goal is an efficient and fun tournament without sitting around endlessly for your games to be played. If you start in the morning, you should be home by lunch. If you start early afternoon, you should be home by dinner. But please note that the official schedule will NOT be posted until the week before the tournament so we can have all our registrations in. You will get an email with the specific start times after the registration deadline which is October 31.
The schedule will be as follows -
Friday November 7: Mens & Womens Singles
Saturday November 8: Mens & Womens Doubles
Sunday November 9: Mixed Doubles all ages
The registration fee is $50 and there is a per event fee of $15. The event fee for the Open Divisions (Moneyball) is $40. The payouts for the Moneyball are determined based on teams entered.
As registration proceeds, tournament management reserves the option to combine brackets as needed if brackets do not fill.
Sandbagging: All event entries are at the discretion of Carolina Pickleball Club. We use DUPR ratings and our own player knowledge to place participants. DUPR ratings up to 3.99 at the time of entry are placed in 3.5, and ratings up to 4.49 are placed in 4.0. A player is allowed to play UP. We take sandbagging seriously and aim to keep draws competitive and fair at every level.
A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player (or higher) and the age group of the younger player. Age is calculated as of 12/31/2025.
Your partner must register within five days of your registration or the team will be moved to the wait list. Your spot in the tournament is not guaranteed until BOTH you AND your partner have registered and all fees have been paid in full.
