April Sound Country Club has eight covered courts and eight outdoor courts.

No Membership in any association is required for registration.

This tournament is US Senior Pickleball approved.

The "Lake Conroe Senior Winter Jam" is a three-day pickleball event consisting of Friday Singles, Saturday Doubles, and Sunday Mix Doubles with eight covered courts and four outdoor courts.

We will have sponsor giveaways throughout the weekend for registered players and April Sound Country Club will be providing lunch on Saturday afternoon for all registered players.

Fees paid are "Per Player".

*Remember: In order to be counted as a team, payment must be completed. Otherwise, you will be moved to the wait list. If you are having trouble registering your partner, make sure they have a pickleball brackets account and profile.

Format for tournament:

10 teams - divided into 2 pools of five teams each, top 2 winners from each pool play a single elimination playoff for medals. Pool play will be 1 to 15 win by 2

9 teams - divided into 3 pools of three teams, top 2 seeds from each pool advance to a six-team single-elimination playoff. Pool play will be double round-robin 1 to 15, win by 2

8 teams- divided into 2 pools of four teams, top 2 winners from each pool play a single elimination playoff for medals.

7 teams- round robin, 1-15, win by 2

6 teams- round robin, 1-15, win by 2

5 teams- round robin, 2/3 to 11, win by 2

4 teams- round robin, 2/3 to 11, win by 2

**If fewer than 3 teams, brackets will be combined.

**Any more than 8 teams (up to 10 teams max), 1 to 15 will be played in pool play.

USSP has a points system to award prizes to the top finishers each year. In the past, prizes with a retail value of $20,000 were awarded to the top 10-point winners in each age group for both men and women on an annual cycle. In 2023, the prize points will begin in January and run through the end of December.

Refunds will be available up to 2 weeks before the tournament registration closes.

All refunds will be charged a $15 processing fee. Emergency refunds will be issued based on approval.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR WEATHER-RELATED CANCELLATIONS. IN CASE OF WEATHER DELAYS, AN ATTEMPT TO PLAY ALL MATCHES SCHEDULED FOR A DAY WILL BE MADE.

Please keep in mind, this is an outdoor tournament; we will do all things possible to play this tournament for inclement weather.

We do have 8 covered courts that we will use. However, the tournament director retains the right to change the format due to weather.
