Listen up, players! Dill Dinkers Hagerstown and Topspin Tournaments are proud to launch the region’s FIRST points-based pickleball tournament series!
Starting February 2026, players will battle through three premier Hub City Slam tournaments, all building toward one ultimate goal: an exclusive invite to the Grand Slam Invitational in November 2026.
This is more than a tournament. This is a season-long race. This is the Hub City Slam!

<strong>The Points Pursuit</strong>
Every match matters.
The Hub City Slam features a cumulative points race across the first three events. The more you play, the more you earn and the higher you climb on the leaderboard.
How it works:
*Participation Points: Earned for every Hub City Slam event you enter
*Performance Points: Awarded based on wins and final bracket placement
*The Goal: Top point earners earn priority seeding and entry into the Grand Slam Invitational

Early sign-ups fill brackets faster, create buzz, and help avoid merging divisions ('cause NO one likes that!). Sign up early and help everyone win - it's part of what makes this series special!<br><br>
<strong>Divisions, Events, and Registration</strong>
Registration is $45 (+$5 site fee) and includes ONE event; additional events are $15 each (up to a $10 max in site fees) - see Prize Money section for OPEN event fees<br>
*Singles - Friday, February 27
*Gender Doubles - Saturday, February 28 (NOTE: ages 60-69 and 70+ will be on Friday, February 27)
*Mixed Doubles - Sunday, March 1
Skill Divisions: 2.5 | 3.0 | 3.5 | 4.0 | 4.5 | 5.0+
The 2.5 division is intended for new players wanting to get in on the action! The 3.0 division is for players 3.000-3.499, 3.5 division is for players 3.5-3.999, etc.

<strong>DUPR Reporting and Verification </strong>
*All divisions <strong>EXCEPT 4.5 and 5.0+</strong> will be DUPR reported
* DUPRs and self-ratings will be reviewed once registration closes
* Players within 0.1 of the next skill level are strongly encouraged to play up
* Players with a DUPR reliability score of 60+ whose rating exceeds their registered division by more than 0.1 <strong>will be moved up, regardless of partner rating</strong>
(Example: A team registered as 3.5 with one player rated 4.18 and a reliability score of 72 will be moved to 4.0.)
