🎃 Halloween Paddle Battle

Visalia, California • DUPR-Rated Co-Ed Mixed Doubles Tournament

Get ready for a day of competitive pickleball, Halloween fun, and great player amenities! The Halloween Paddle Battle will feature co-ed mixed doubles competition, DUPR-rated play, guaranteed pool play, medal matches, and a festive tournament atmosphere.

Partners are not locked in for this event and may vary throughout the tournament. Grab a partner or come ready to meet someone new and battle it out on the courts!

Every participant will receive:

👕 Tournament T-Shirt - A special Halloween Paddle Battle shirt for all registered players.

🏅 Medals - Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.

Event Schedule:

8:00 AM–🎃 Coed Doubles 2.5–3.0

12:30 AM -🕷️ Coed Doubles 3.5

Come dressed in your best Halloween costume to enter our Costume Contest! 🎃👻

Show off your creativity on and off the court for a chance to be named the Halloween Paddle Battle Costume Champion!

Costumes are encouraged for players and spectators alike — the more creative, the better!

🎃 Get Ready to Paddle!

Grab your partner, choose your division, put together your best costume, and get ready for a day of pickleball, competition, and Halloween fun!

Additional Information

Each event will be played on 6 courts with a maximum of 14 teams.

🏆 Pool Play Format

• All teams compete in a single round-robin pool.

• Games are played to 11, win by 2.

• Final pool standings determine the medal-round seeds.

If an Event Has Fewer Teams

o Pools with 4 or fewer teams will play a double round-robin format.

o Pools with fewer than 8 teams will play games to 15, win by 2.

o Pools with 8 or more teams will play games to 11, win by 2.

🥇 Advancement & Medal Matches

For events with a single pool:

• Seeds 1 and 2 advance to the Gold Medal Match.

• Seeds 3 and 4 advance to the Bronze Medal Match.

🥇 Gold Medal Match

Best 2 out of 3 games, win by 2.

🥉 Bronze Medal Match

One game to 15, win by 2.

DUPR Rating Requirement – This is a DUPR rated event.

• Players must have a DUPR rating that meets or matches the skill level of the event they are entering at

least 24 hours prior to the start of the tournament.

• Players whose DUPR rating does not meet the required skill level may be moved to an appropriate event or removed from the event at the tournament director’s discretion.

• Players are responsible for ensuring their DUPR profile and rating are accurate and up to date prior to registration.

**T-Shirts will be ordered by size submitted at time of enrollment. Enrollments made after September 20 may not be guaranteed their requested size.*

Refund Policy

- Cancellations must be submitted by October 12, 2026 to be eligible for a refund.

- A $15 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations.

- Cancellations after October 12, 2026 are non-refundable, regardless of reason.

- PickleballBrackets system fees are non-refundable ($5 for one event; $10 for two or more events).
