Welcome to The Intense Pickleball " Be #1 in 2021" Pickleball Tournament at Lost Mountain Tennis Center. This is a Georgia Pickleball Association Sanctioned Tournament.

All Entries are required to be a member of the Georgia Pickleball Association (GPA). The GPA registration fee is a one-time $20 fee for the calendar year. GPA membership allows players to play in all GPA sanctioned tournaments and leagues. GPA will maintain GPA ratings and GPA rankings for all players. GPA strongly encourages all players to also become members of USA Pickleball. Results from all GPA tournaments will also be submitted to USA Pickleball for UPTR ratings. GPA anticipates holding 15 to 25 tournaments in 2021, including the GPA State Tournament, GPA Indoor State Tournament, and a Tournament of Champions.

The registration fee for this tournament is $40 and includes two events (Mixed Doubles and Women's or Men's Doubles).

The format is Double Elimination with a consolation matches for teams that go 0-2. All teams are guaranteed 3 matches. Winners Bracket and Medal Games will be 2 out of 3 games to 11 by 2 points. Losers Bracket and Consolation games will be one game to 15 by 2 points.

For Brackets with less than 6 teams we will use a Round Robin Format. Brackets with 5 teams will play a single Round Robin 4 games to 15 by 2. Brackets with 4 teams will play a double Round Robin 6 games to 11 by 2.

All Entries receive a FREE long sleeve Dri-Fit T-Shirt. $5 Fee for sizes XXL, XXXL, and XXXXL.

Cancellation deadline is 9pm December 20, 2020. No refunds for any reason after that date. Cancellations prior to that date are subject to a $10 administration fee. Your spot in the tournament is not guaranteed until your partner has registered and all fees have been paid in full.

If the tournament is cancelled due to COVID restrictions or directives from government authorities, we will refund your registration fees less any prorated incurred expenses.

If the tournament is cancelled due to weather prior to the start of an event, we will refund your registration fees less any prorated incurred expenses.

If an event has STARTED and is cancelled due to weather there will be no refunds. We will make every effort to complete any event that has been started. Tournament Director reserves the right to change format, shorten games, or make any other changes they feel will help complete the event.
