Welcome to the 2023 Selkirk True North Pickleball Tour and the third annual Iron Horse Open! We are very excited to see competition back on the courts in one of the nation's finest outdoor facilities.

This year's tournament will be run in memory of Dave Hall. Dave was the founding president of the St. Thomas Pickleball Club and he was instrumental in the subsequent growth of the sport in the area as well as getting the permanent courts at Pinafore Park. A portion of this year's registrations will be donated to a charity of Dave's family's choice.

This will be a skill/age event broken into 3.0-, 3.5, 4.0 and Open skill levels and 16+, 35+, 50+, 65+ age levels. Where necessary events will be combined, skill will be combined before age. The format will be pool round robins followed by a medal round.

We will also be offering split age events on Sunday the 6th. One player must be 50+ and one player below 50. There will be a 3.5 and under category and a 4.0+ category. Men's and Women's doubles will be played in the morning and Mixed in the afternoon which means you can play as many as 4 events this year!

This will be an outdoor tournament and subject to weather. In the event of poor weather every effort will be made to complete events but there will be no refunds for any weather related cancellations, There will be a $20 weather insurance option upon registration which if chosen will see you refunded (minus the weather insurance) for the event.

We will be playing with the Franklin X40 - the official outdoor ball of the tour.

Refunds available up till July 25 subject to a $10 admin fee. No refunds after this date for any reason, including injury and unforeseeable circumstances.

No refunds if the event is unable to proceed or be completed due to weather. Weather insurance will be available upon registration.
