Liveball Trips Team Tournament

This tournament is very similar to an MLP tourney. Your team will play back to back games. You don't have to worry about playing a game then having an hour in between your next game. The only wait your team will have is if there are an odd number of teams in your division.

To sign up a team you will go under (men's, women's or co-ed) singles to register and pay for your team. Answer the question about who else is your team and what is your combined DUPR.

If you are a free agent and you want a chance to play you can register for a price of $5. (Non-refundable due to the money going to pickleballbrackets.) Answer question in registration about what bracket you are interested in playing. We will do our best to put you on a team.

Men's 45+ DUPR (10.3), no individual DUPR higher than 3.9

Men's 19+ DUPR (9.8), no individual DUPR higher than 3.75

Note: For men's 45+ divisions you are allowed to have one teammate that is between the ages (40-44) as long as the other men are 45+. You are also allowed to have guy over 35+ as long as other two men are 50+.

Times on Saturday vary around 8:00am, noon, or 4pm. Each division will take between 3-4.5 hours to complete. Note that there will not be much wait time unless you have an odd number of teams in your division due teams having a bye. 45+ divisions will start at 8:00am. Other divisions start times will be released in late December.

How does this format work?

Men's and Women's Division:

All scoring in pool play is one game to 11 (win by 1), regular scoring.

We have Player A, B, and C.

The games start with the two highest DUPR's on the team playing against the other team's two highest DUPR's. Let's say player A and B on both teams have the two highest DURP's. The second matchup let's say player C will plays with player A. Then the last round player C would play with player B. That concludes a matchup against a team.

You will be guaranteed at a minimum to play against two teams. Most of the divisions will have you face 3 or 4 teams.

For those that have not done a team tournament before. When you see a division such as DUPR 11.5 it means that you can enter this division as long as your combined DUPR with your teammates is under 11.5.

The 45+ division will merge the 19+ division that is a little lower if not enough teams pan out.

Half of your money will be given back before January 1st.
