Join us June 20–21, 2026 at Big Orange Pickleball for the One Unforgettable Night Charity Pickleball Tournament, presented by Kane's Crusaders. Two days of competitive pickleball across six divisions, a celebrity exhibition match featuring WWE superstar and Knox County Mayor Glenn "Kane" Jacobs, and every dollar raised going to one of East Tennessee's most beloved charity events.
Proceeds from this tournament directly fund One Unforgettable Night, the annual patient prom that Kane's Crusaders throws each year for chronically-ill teens being cared for at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. For one night, kids who have been through more than any teenager should can set their illness aside and just be teenagers; DJs, dancing, a glow party, appetizers, photo booths, hair and makeup, gift bags, the full prom experience. The event is free to patients, their dates, and their chaperones, and your entry fee helps keep it that way. As Mayor Jacobs put it, "For maybe one night a year, just forget about all the stuff going on. Forget about their illness, the things that they've been through."
The headline event is Sunday, June 21 at noon, when Mayor Jacobs, the superstar better known to millions as Kane, takes the court for a celebrity exhibition match to open the day's mixed bracket play. Bring your camera and bring the kids.
Saturday, June 20 kicks off with Men's 3.99 & under check-in at 8 AM, opening remarks, and play beginning at 9 AM. Men's 4.0+ starts at noon, Women's 3.99 & under at 3 PM, and Women's 4.0+ at 6 PM. On Sunday, June 21, the celebrity match begins at noon, followed by Mixed Doubles 3.99 & under at 1 PM and Mixed Doubles 4.0+ at 4 PM.
Every division runs pool play into a single-elimination bracket, with gold, silver, and bronze medals awarded to the top three teams. Registration is $50 per player and includes a free event t-shirt for every registered player, yours to keep regardless of where you finish, along with complimentary drinks and snacks throughout the day, and a front-row seat to a celebrity pickleball match you'll remember for a long time.
