Tournament Description
Kingsbury Club Medfield Home of New England Racquet Sports-- featuring 12 indoor dedicated fenced in Pickleball courts will be hosting our Pickleball 2025 March Open!
There will be a 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 and over division. DIVISIONS WILL BE MERGED Feb 24th 2025
Registration Closes Monday, March 3rd @ 5:00 p.m.
Singles – Friday
Gender Doubles – Saturday
Mixed Doubles – Sunday
$65.00 Registration Fee up until January 12th
$85.00 Registration Fee for first event and $25.00 each additional event.
Register based on skill level.
Additional Information
Tournament Format:
*Events with 9+ Teams: Teams will be divided into two or more seeded pools and the top teams in each pool will advance to a playoff round to determine medal winners.
*Events with 8 Teams or Less: Round Robin for events with a small number of teams.
*Skill Level: (Ratings will be verified by the club at point of registration). Players with a DUPR rating must use that rating. Players with a USAPA UTPR rating but no DUPR rating must use that rating. Players with neither rating may self-rate within reason.
**Ratings will be verified by the tournament director periodically and is up to the discretion of the TD!
Matches will be added to DUPR and will take roughly 4-6 weeks after the tournament is complete to reflect in your account.
The tournament reserves the right to move players and teams between skill level brackets/events.
*Registering Together As A Team (TIP) : For a guaranteed spot in mixed doubles or doubles, the second partner must sign up within 3 days of the first partner's registration. Incomplete teams will be moved to the waiting list after that. Once the second partner registers, they will be moved back into the event IF THERE ARE SPOTS LEFT IN THE TOURNAMENT AND THE EVENT.
Safe Tournament Environment:
*Spectators must sit in designated viewing areas. Bleachers Available or bring your own chair.
*Players and spectators will only be permitted in the facility during their event.
Food & Beverage:
*The Ice House Bar & Restaurant on Site!
Refund Policy
*Refunds minus a $15 processing fee for withdrawals from the tournament up through February 18th, 2025.
*NO refunds after Feb 19th for ANY reason.
*Replacement Players/Subbing* Entry fees may be transferred to a replacement player/sub of similar skill level at any time up through the morning of the event.
For Example: A player won’t be able to attend the tournament but has a replacement/sub. Can the replacement/sub take my spot? Yes, only if the player is of similar level, then he can take your spot for tournament play; payment would need to be worked out amongst yourselves.
*Refunds will be processed after the tournament is over and can take several weeks to process.
*If the tournament is cancelled due to State of Massachusetts COVID restrictions, players will receive 50% of their initial payment.
