Get ready for a spooky, high-energy Halloween MLP-style team tournament where strategy and teamwork take center stage! Each team consists of exactly two men and two women, battling through a dynamic four-game match format featuring one women's doubles, one men's doubles, and two mixed doubles games. Every team will play a total of four guaranteed matches, and if any matchup ends in a 2-2 dead heat, teams face off in a dramatic, rotating singles tiebreaker to crown the winner. To celebrate the holiday, we are hosting a costume contest with great prizes—wearing a costume is completely optional, but highly encouraged! Best of all, no one goes home early: all four teams will play in the final medal round to battle for gold, silver, and bronze.
Tournament Rules & Format

Team Rosters & Substitution Policy
Team Composition: Each team must consist of exactly 4 players (2 men and 2 women).
Emergency Substitutions: Substitutions are allowed only in the event of a player injury or a last-minute no-show.
Sub Skill Cap: Any replacement player must be ranked at or below the bracket skill limit (e.g., a replacement player for the 3.0–3.49 bracket cannot have a rating or skill level of 3.5 or higher).
Roster Play Caps: To keep play fair, each player is strictly capped at playing in two regular games per match: their designated gendered doubles game and exactly one mixed doubles game.
Match Structure
Each team-versus-team matchup consists of 4 distinct games, played in the following mandatory order:
Game 1: Women’s Doubles
Game 2: Men’s Doubles
Game 3: Mixed Doubles #1
Game 4: Mixed Doubles #2
A team wins the overall match if they win 3 or 4 of the doubles games. If the doubles games end in a 2–2 tie, the match proceeds immediately to the Singles Tiebreaker.
Scoring System
Doubles Matches (Games 1–4): Played using traditional Side-Out Scoring to 11 (Win by 2). Points can only be scored by the serving team.
Singles Tiebreaker (If Tied 2-2): Played using Rally Scoring to 21 (Win by 2). A point is scored on every single rally, regardless of who served.
Singles Tiebreaker Formats (All 4 Players MUST Play)
If a match is tied 2–2, a final singles game will determine the winning team. All four roster members must participate. Each player plays 4 consecutive points before rotating out for the next teammate in a fixed order until the game ends.
The court layout for the tiebreaker depends on your bracket skill division:
2.0–3.0 & 3.0–3.49 Brackets: Played as Skinny Singles
3.5–4.5 Bracket: Played as traditional, Full-Court Singles.
