Tournament Description

The Lake Norman Cup is back for its third tournament, the Lake Norman Cup: Fall Classic!

Join us September 18–20th for a full weekend of competitive pickleball at Lake Norman Pickleball Club located at 140 Raceway Drive, Mooresville, NC 28117

Weekend Schedule

Friday, September 18: Women’s 4.0+ Moneyball

Saturday, September 19: Gender Doubles

Sunday, September 20: Mixed Doubles

Registration & Pricing

$50 per player.

Playing multiple events? Each additional event is $20 per player.

LNPC members are eligible for a $10 member discount on their first event. Members must call the club to receive the discount code before registering.

All players must register individually; a team is not considered fully registered until both partners have completed registration.

All tournament results will be reported to DUPR.

Additional Information

Tournament divisions, formats, pool assignments, and exact start times will be determined based on final registration numbers.

The Tournament Director will email players their start time, tournament format, pool information, and other important event details at least 24 hours before their scheduled event.

All teams must be completely registered through PickleballBrackets. Both partners must complete their individual registration for the team to be confirmed.

DUPR: Match results from the Lake Norman Cup: Fall Classic will be reported to DUPR.

Division Placement: The Tournament Director reserves the right to move players or teams when their rating or playing history indicates they are registered in an inappropriate skill division.

Division Merges: Divisions may be combined or adjusted based on registration numbers to create competitive brackets and provide the best possible tournament experience.

Moneyball: Friday night’s Women’s 4.0+ Moneyball will feature a 60/40 cash payout split, with final payouts based on registration.

Weather

Our facility is fully air-conditioned, so tournament play will continue regardless of heat or weather conditions outside.

Health & Safety

The safety of our players, spectators, and staff is a priority throughout the Lake Norman Cup: Fall Classic.

All matches will be played indoors on six cushioned courts in an air-conditioned facility.

Players are responsible for determining that they are physically able to compete and should remain properly hydrated throughout the tournament.

Please notify tournament staff immediately of any injury, unsafe court condition, or other safety concern.

Players should bring any personal braces, supports, medications, hydration products, or other items they may need during competition.

Tournament staff reserve the right to stop, or delay play when necessary to address a player injury, court condition, or other safety concern.
