Join Us for the 2026 Lakes & Loons Pickleball Classic!
The Itasca County Pickleball Association invites you to beautiful Grand Rapids, Minnesota for a weekend of competitive play, great energy, and community spirit.
Tournament Dates:
• Friday, September 11: Senior 60+ Men’s & Women’s Doubles
• Saturday, September 12: Open & Senior 60+ Mixed Doubles
• Sunday, September 13: Open Men’s & Women’s Doubles
Format:
Pool play followed by a double-elimination bracket with no comeback. Backdraw teams compete for bronze. All teams advance to bracket play. (Tournament Directors reserve the right to modify brackets at their discretion).
Registration:
• $10 registration fee
• $45 per event (+ $5 service fee per event for the first two events)
• Registration includes a tournament t-shirt. Register by August 10 to guarantee your t-shirt size.
Divisions & Ratings:
Players should register based on their DUPR rating. For example, a team with players rated 3.678 and 4.012 must compete in the 4.00–4.499 bracket.
Both players must be 60+ for Senior divisions. Senior players may also compete in Open events on Saturday and Sunday.
Rules & Requirements:
• Matches will follow USA Pickleball (USAPA) rules.
• Paddles must be USAPA or UPA-A approved.
• All results will be submitted to DUPR (players must have a DUPR account prior to the tournament).
