Match Format
• Guaranteed multiple matches in every division
• Round robin pool play followed by single-elimination playoffs
• Pool sizes: 6–18 teams
• Pool play: 1 game to 11, win by 1
• Playoffs: 1 game to 15, win by 2
Ratings & Advancement
• Top finishers from each pool advance to playoff brackets
• DUPR ratings recorded for all divisions unless otherwise noted
Moneyball / Prize Divisions
• Designated Moneyball divisions will feature cash payouts
• Prize amounts subject to division size and total registrations
• Payout structures may be adjusted at the discretion of the Tournament Director
• Open / Moneyball divisions may not be DUPR recorded
• All paddles used in competition must be USA Pickleball (USAP) approved
Scheduling & Operations
• Players competing in multiple divisions are responsible for managing potential scheduling conflicts
• While efforts will be made to minimize overlaps, conflicts are not guaranteed to be avoided
• No refunds will be issued due to schedule conflicts
• Match formats, pool sizes, and divisions may be adjusted due to time, weather, or registration counts
• Tournament Director reserves the right to combine, split, or adjust divisions as needed
• Additional divisions may be opened or scheduled based on registration demand
Conduct & Venue Policies
• Proper court shoes required
• Good sportsmanship is expected at all times
• Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in forfeiture or removal without refund
• Tournament Director decisions are final
Alcohol Policy
• Alcohol sales and service limited to designated hours and locations
• Valid government-issued ID required (21+)
• Overservice will not be permitted
• Event reserves the right to deny service at any time
Liability Waiver
By registering, all participants assume all risk and agree to release and hold harmless PIKL Los Angeles, LAPA, event staff, sponsors, and affiliates from any liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred during participation.
