Last Call Moneyball
Level: This is an open event, featuring play that is DUPR 5.0+ (close to pro-level). However, all levels are welcome to play: You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
Format (If max capacity):
- $100 buy-in per team with a $1,000 guaranteed pot
- Play begins with four pools, each containing four teams
- The top two teams from each pool advance to an eight-team, single-elimination playoff bracket
- Pool play is single games to 11 (win by two). Quarters- and Semi-finals are played to 15 (win by two), and the final is best-of-three games to 11 (win by two)
Payout:
- First Place $700
- Second Place: $200
- Third Place: $100
Introducing The Last Shot Redemption: $100 buy-back opportunity after pool-play to take another run at the pot.
Event Vibes:
- Championship court will be livestreamed on the St Pete Athletic Instagram
- Courts are available for rec play for teams that don’t make the playoffs
- We’ll be bringing the vibes with some high-energy tunes
- Recovery equipment will be available for players between games
Throughout the night, we keep things flowing with complimentary sample pours including Santo Paloma, Courtside American Ale, Honeydew Deuce, Sunshine City IPA and Transfusion.
