Welcome to Latitude 42 Pickleball Fever in the Zoo!

Friday, Saturday, Sunday August 15-17, 2025

Kalamazoo Pickleball Outreach is hosting our annual fundraiser. All monies we raise go towards building public pickleball courts in the area, as well as supporting and equipping charities. To date we have donated over $100,000 and are dedicated to growing this wonderful game.

Ramona Park hosts our event and 12 dedicated, individually fenced outdoor courts with permanent nets, located in Portage Michigan. The Latitude 42 Pickleball Fever in the Zoo tournament offers skill/age events for ages 13 and up:

Men's doubles Friday August 15

Mixed doubles Saturday August 16

Women's doubles Sunday August 17

THIS IS AN OUTDOOR TOURNAMENT. IN THE EVENT OF RAIN THERE ARE NO MAKE-UP DATES AND NO REFUNDS. NO INDOOR BACKUP FACILITIES.

Format:

Registration will be limited based on number of entries we can accommodate for a 12-court outdoor facility with no lighting. Rain will change the format.

Round Robin format. Skill levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5/5.0

Skill levels will be broken into age groups depending upon registration.

Round Robin Format:

6 or more teams single RR playing 1 game to 15

3 & 4 & 5 teams double RR playing 1 game to 15

Registration starts March 1, 2025, 8:00am ET

*****Be sure you have a DUPR account and link it is to your pickleball.com profile.****

We will be using the player DUPR ratings as of August 1, 2025.

When registration closes, we will check DUPR ratings and move teams if ratings increased. If your rating drops, please email and we can lower your skill bracket if you wish.

REGISTRATION FEES:

Registration is $65/person; this includes player shirt, one event and additional goodies.

Each additional event is $10.00

We are non-sanctioned this year, so you DO NOT need to be USA Pickleball member. We encourage it, but not necessary.

****DOUBLES PARTNERS**** Your partner must register within 7 days, or you will be placed on the waitlist.

All matches will have a Foot Fault Finder (FFF). Referees will be onsite.

Thanks to Franklin X-40 for supplying the ball for the tournament.

You may only register for one event per day.

Players may cancel until August 1, 2025.

There is a $10.00 cancellation fee on all cancellations.

This does not include the $5 ($10max) service fee from Pickleball Brackets.

After August 1, 2025 there are NO refunds.

Please email: deesinicki@gmail.com and confirm if you are withdrawing from one event or from entire tournament for a refund.

T-shirt registration will be taken until July 15, 2025. After this date we cannot guarantee a shirt with registration. We will do our best to honor your t-shirt size request. T shirts are long sleeve uni-sex size.

This is an outdoor tournament, EVERY EFFORT will be made to play matches. We strive for safety of all players, vendors and spectators. We appreciate your cooperation and support.
