Life Time Fitness Annapolis

A premier fitness destination conveniently located in Annapolis Town Center. The new 46,000-square-foot expansion is now open featuring 11 indoor dedicated pickleball courts for open play, lessons and leagues, new dedicated spaces for group training programs and LT Recovery, state-of-the-art equipment and more.

Tournament Details:

Prizes:

Gold and silver medalists will receive prizes from Life Time.

Schedule:

Lower-level divisions (2.5, 3.0) are expected to begin at 8:00 AM.

Mid-level divisions (3.5, 4.0) are expected to begin at 10:00 AM.

Higher-level divisions (4.5) are expected to begin at 11:00 AM.

Please note that these are approximate times, and actual start times will depend on the number of participants in each division. Be sure to check the draw after registration closes for your specific start time.

Format:

The tournament will feature 2 out of 3 games played to 11 win by 1. Entrants are guaranteed 3 matches.

DUPR Registration:

This is a DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) tournament. If you don't already have a DUPR account, please create one before registering.

Important Information for Life Time Fitness Annapolis Pickleball Tournament Participants

Access to the Club:

Life Time Fitness Annapolis is a private club. Only tournament players and club members are permitted to enter the facility. Tournament players are granted access exclusively to the pickleball area for the duration of their participation. Full access to other club amenities is not available.

Guest Policy:

Non-members wishing to bring a guest will be able to bring one guest with them. Beyond the first guest, non-members would be responsible for a one-day guest fee of $50.

Seating:

Ample seating is provided in the pickleball area, so bringing your own chairs is unnecessary. Please note that the front desk staff will not permit personal items such as chairs to be brought into the building.

Food and Beverage:

Outside food and beverages are not allowed. Participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottles, as cold water fountains are available in the pickleball area. For other food and beverage options, the on-site café will be open and available to all tournament players during the event. Please be aware that coolers and large food containers will not be allowed entry.

Any withdrawals before registration closes October 25, 2024 will incur a $20 process fee. Pickleballbracket service fees are non-refundable.

Withdrawals after registration closes October 25, 2024 will not be refunded.

Maximum prize money for tournament will be $3750 based on full draws. See pay-out distribution below for lower levels of participation.

Doubles

5-8 teams and the prize money will be 200 to the winners and 100 to runner ups

9-12 teams prize money will be 300 to the winners and 150 to the runner ups

13-16 teams prize money will be 500 to the winners and 250 to the runners ups

Singles

5-8 players prize money will be 100 to the winner and 50 to runner up

9-12 players prize money will be 200 to the winner and 100 to the runner up

13-16 players prize money will be 250 to the winner and 125 to the runner up

**Inclement Weather Policy for Indoor Pickleball Tournament**

While the tournament is held indoors at Life Time Fitness Annapolis, we recognize that winter weather conditions may still impact travel and scheduling. In the event of inclement weather, the following policies will apply:

1. **Tournament Location:**

As the event is hosted indoors, play will proceed as scheduled, regardless of weather conditions outside. There will be no weather-related cancellations of the tournament itself.

2. **Travel Delays:**

Players should plan for potential delays caused by winter weather. In case of significant delays or road conditions that prevent timely arrival, please contact the tournament organizer as soon as possible to inform them of your situation.

3. **Schedule Adjustments:**

If weather conditions affect the tournament schedule or prompt delays, updates will be communicated via email and the tournament’s official communication channels. We will make every effort to adjust the schedule to accommodate affected players and ensure smooth event progression.

4. **Safety First:**

We encourage all participants to prioritize safety when traveling to the event. If conditions make travel unsafe, please contact us to discuss any necessary adjustments. Player safety is our top priority.

5. **Refunds & Rescheduling:**

In the unlikely event that the tournament must be rescheduled or canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, updates will be provided promptly. Refunds or rescheduling options will be made available, as needed, depending on the situation.
