We use Pickleball Brackets and DUPR to place athletes.
If your Pickleball Brackets = 3.85 and DUPR = 4.25, you cannot enter the 3.5โ3.99 event; however, if your PB rating is lower but your DUPR is higher and you believe it is incorrectly set for tournament play, you can request a play-history review. If your history supports it, you may qualify for the lower bracket level than your DUPR.
Seeding (Read Me If You Love Brackets)
Seeding is initially set by the Pickleball Brackets algorithm and finalized when registration closes.
Weโll only make manual tweaks to fix clear anomalies (e.g., too many same-club players clustered together or multiple near-identical teams).
Medal-round seeding follows Pickleball Brackets exactlyโno overrides by the Tournament Director.

Most events use a round-robin format (commonly 3 groups of 5 teams).
Groups may be combined if entries are light; formats can change up to start time to fit the field.
Typically, the top two from each group advance to medal rounds. But final bracket configurations will be set the week of the tournmaent depending on signups.
Tiebreakers (per Pickleball Brackets):
Head-to-Head โ 2) Point Differential โ 3) Total Points Won

Matches varyโplease plan for up to ~4 hours for your full event window. We will try to communicate any delays as soon as possible.
Expect occasional delays or gaps between matches (hydrate like a champ).
DUPR Reporting (Important!)
ALL MATCHES WILL BE RECORDED TO DUPR.
You must have a DUPR account integrated with your Pickleball Tournaments profile before play.
