Doubles & Singles tournament (Mens/Womens/Mixed Doubles & Mens/Womens Singles)

Joola 3s paddles will be allowed for use in this tournament.

Doubles teams will be considered eligible for a division based on the average of their DUPR ratings. Tournament director has final say in the eligibility & division of play for any player/team.

Doubles: Pool play with top teams (either 4 or 8) moving to playoffs >> semi-finals >> finals. Number of guaranteed games is dependent on number of teams registered.

Singles: Scoring and format TBD by tournament director based on number of entrants. We try our best to help everyone play the most games possible.

Top teams/players decided by: 1) win-loss record. 2) head-to-head result. 3) point differential of all wins & losses combined

Doubles pool play to 11 (win by 1), side-out scoring. Semis & finals play to 11 (win by 2), if time permits then the playoffs could be played to 15, or 2 out of 3.

Penn1: 7 dedicated indoor PB courts located at Life Time at PENN1 on 33rd street between 6th Ave. & 7th Ave.

Sky: 2 dedicated indoor PB courts located at Life Time Sky- 605 w. 42nd St in Manhattan

Each division typically lasts 3 hours or less. We run our tournaments with PB players as our priority and 99% of our divisions start/finish on time.

Scores will be entered into DUPR, must have DUPR account and request to join the "Life Time at PENN1" and/or "LifeTime at Sky" club on the DUPR app or website.

Participants under the age of 18 may bring 1 chaperone. Life Time premier members may attend and spectate at Penn1. Non-member spectators must acquire a day pass to enter Life Time. No spectators are allowed on the courts. Participants can be any age, no spectators under the age of 14.

Players in violation of Life Time policy or DUPR policy may be denied entry into tournament. Players are not allowed to play below their DUPR rating/skill level unless an exception is requested/granted. Players may play above their DUPR rating if they so desire. Tournament director has final say in permitting players to play in respective skill levels, this is meant to uphold the integrity of the tournament to make games fun & competitive. When qualifying players for a division we look at the average of their DUPR ratings.

Please arrive 20 minutes before your division starts. Do not enter the courts until the division before yours is finished. Players must vacate the courts after their division is finished. No food on the courts, no pets, no young children, and please refrain from making any special requests.

First place team in the 5.0+/4.5+ division of Mens/Womens/Mixed Doubles will receive $1000 per team. This is dependent on having a sold out division, if not sold out then prize money will be commensurate with number of participants.

First Place winner in Mens Singles Open Division will receive $300.

First Place winner in Womens Singles Open Division will receive $300.

Prize money is dependent on sign-ups and may change proportionally based on sign-ups.
