🧮 Ratings & Division Requirements
• All scores will be reported to DUPR.
• We use DUPR to ensure fair and competitive play.
• NR (Not Rated) players are permitted to participate only if their partner has an established DUPR rating. In these cases, the team’s eligibility and rating classification will be based on the rated player’s DUPR. Teams consisting of two NR players will not be permitted.
📈 Division Skill Level Ranges
• Division 2.5: < 3.000
• Division 3.0: (3.000 – 3.499)
• Division 3.5: (3.500 – 3.999)
• Division 4.0: (4.000 – 4.499)
• Division 4.5: (4.500 - 4.999)
• Division 5.0: (5.000+)
• Senior Division: Must be 50+
• For all doubles events, bracket placement is determined by the rating of the higher-rated partner. For example, if a team consists of a 3.5-rated player and a 4.0-rated player, that team must register and compete in the 4.0 division.
• Players are permitted to 'play up' into a higher skill bracket than their current rating. However, they may never 'play down' into a lower bracket.
⚖️ DUPR Integrity / Sandbagging
• Ratings at the time of registration determine eligibility. Rating changes after that date will not affect eligibility.
• Zero tolerance for sandbagging, misuse, or intentionally entering the wrong division.
• The Tournament Director reserves the right to move or remove any player to protect fair play and tournament integrity.
• In cases where a player has multiple DUPR accounts, the Tournament Director will prioritize the higher rating to determine eligibility.
👥 Doubles Registration Policy
Partners must register within 3 days of each other or teams may be moved to the waitlist. Once both players are registered, teams will be moved into the main draw. If the division is full, they will remain on the waitlist until a spot opens.
👶🏻Players Who Are Minors (Under 18)
Competition prizes awarded to minors will be paid to the parent or legal guardian serving as the minor's custodian and are contingent on eligibility verification, compliance with rules, and completion of tax documentation.
A parent or legal guardian must complete the Life Time Child Waiver prior to the tournament.
Joola 3s paddles will be allowed for use in this tournament. Joola MOD paddles will not be permitted.
Tournament director has final say in the eligibility & division of play for any player/team.
Priority of sign-ups goes to teams of 2, individuals without a partner may be moved to the waitlist and are responsible for finding a partner.
Doubles: Pool play with top teams (either 4 or 8) moving to playoffs >> semi-finals >> finals.
Singles: Scoring and format TBD by tournament director.
Top teams/players decided by: 1) win-loss record. 2) head-to-head result. 3) point differential of all wins & losses combined 4) point differential of all wins
Doubles typically has pool play to 11 (win by 1), side-out scoring. Semis & finals play to 11 (win by 2), if time permits then the playoffs could be played to 15, or 2 out of 3. Tournament director has final say in all decisions on tournament format, structure and rules.
Please double-check your start times and locations as those can change leading up to tournament.
Each division typically lasts 2-4 hours. We run our tournaments with PB players as our priority and 99% of our divisions start/finish on time.
Players in violation of Life Time policy or DUPR policy may be disqualified from, or denied entry into, tournament. Tournament director has authority to penalize, disqualify & ban players/teams for poor behavior. Tournament director has final say in permitting players to play in respective skill levels, this is meant to uphold the integrity of the tournament to make games fun & competitive. No sandbagging!!
Please arrive 30 minutes before your division starts. Do not enter the courts until the division before yours is finished. Players must vacate the courts after their division is finished. No food on the courts, no pets, no young children, and please refrain from making any special requests.
