## 🏓 PLEASE READ – TEAM EVENT FORMATS & RULES
The Turkey Smash Classic includes **two different team formats**. Please make sure you understand the format of the event you are registering for.
### 🔥 3v3 EVENTS
3v3 events are played with **3 players per team**.
- Each team matchup consists of **3 matches**
- Each player plays **2 matches per team matchup**
- Players will have different partners throughout the matchup
- **No player may partner with the same teammate twice** within the matchup
- Team matchups are played according to the event's designated 3v3 format and scoring
- Teams compete in a round-robin format before advancing to the playoff/medal rounds when applicable
**Team strategy matters!** Captains should be prepared to determine player combinations for each matchup.
### 🦃 TEAM MiLP STYLE EVENTS – 4 PLAYER TEAMS
These events use a **4-player team format** and are different from the 3v3 events.
Each team matchup consists of:
- **1 Women's Doubles match**
- **1 Men's Doubles match**
- **2 Mixed Doubles matches**
All four team members participate in the matchup.
Matches are played using the **MiLP-style scoring and format designated for the event**, including the applicable tiebreaker format if the team matchup is tied.
### ⚠️ IMPORTANT
**3v3 and Team MiLP Style are NOT the same format.**
Please review the event format before registering and make sure your entire team understands how the matches will be played.
Match formats, scoring, court assignments, and schedules may be adjusted by the Tournament Director when necessary based on registration and tournament flow.
